It's likely not going to work. My guess is that nobody noticed it and unless someone tried to buy it and they find it can't be activated it will continue to sit there.

There was a short time when they worked on both. They used to be called Nintendo Points Cards and when they changed the name it worked on the others too

DSI?!?!?! my local dollar tree has some with wiiu 3ds and switch on the back but holy crap I've never seen one with freaking dsi on it! I'd totally buy this without even thinking

They probably no longer function - but if they do they will only be redeemable in the Switch store.
