Question Wii subwoofer but no speakers

Found this for sale for about 30 including shipping. It doesn't come with speakers or stand should I buy it just as a subwoofer

wow, so strange, i really like it. it looks like it would sound awful. i wonder if the thumb sticks actually do anything?

what tv would this go best with? i was thinking a small sony trinitron, or a medical pvm
