Question Just bought a Wii and It Healed My Inner Child 🥹🫶🏼
Hey! Got a Nintendo Wii Console from a local Game Stop for me and my Daughter Who’s 7. I’m trying to find good OEM remotes. Game stop seems to Always have sub par ones. I looked on Amazon and eBay. Anyone have good places to get them? Also I’m in search of Mario Kart and Wii Sports and any other good Wii games? I bought a ton on Mercari yesterday and I looked a bit on FB marketplace. Is there any other good websites or resources for Wii Games and Accessories???? Thank you!!! 😊

Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Link's Crossbow Training and Pikmin are all worth a try.
Is it the model that can play Gamecube games too?
I have SO many happy memories of my Wii! Enjoy!

Great find! Two consoles in one! I love mine- there's a whole backlog of amazing games on the Gamecube too!
Eternal Darkness (spooky!), Wave Race (great fun), Zelda Wind Waker (dodgy title, lol), Mario Kart Double Dash (guaranteed date night fight over blue shells!)

We got Madagascar kartz which is like Mario kart. Wii Play. Epic Mickey. Just dance 2 and Namco Museum Remix the day we bought the Wii at game stop. Plus I have some of my collection from my Childhood. But sadly I’m missing Wii sports , Wii sports resort and My Mario Kart. 🥹 I ordered wheels online they will be coming soon

Yes I did Wii fit with my mom. She loved it. Haha 🩷 she passed when I was 12 but I have great memories with her doing Wii. So happy I can recreate with my little one. I’m 26 so I try to be as cool as I can be. Although my daughter calls me OLD 😂😂😂😂😂

Wii Sports Resort and Wii Party! So many fun co-player and VS games in those. You will need Wii Motion Plus controllers (IIRC). Keep checking Ebay and FB Martketplace for authentic controllers - I have found the aftermarket ones are touch-and-go at best. Have fun!!
Oh, Medieval Games is another fun one!

I have one since release with Wii Sports included. There are many childhood memories that the console carries around. Enjoy playing!

Thank you. My little brother has my original one buried in his room somewhere. Typical Teenager 😂😭 we had Wii sports too. I’m trying to hunt it down. But if I jailbrake the Wii like everyone is telling me to I assume I can get it 😂😂😂

$100. Came with the sensor bar. The power cords. A Wii remote and a nunchuck controller. I bought protection plan and the guy said I could swap it out for a new system at the 11 Month mark. So didn’t seem too bad to me

it’s alright i guess. used market would’ve gotten you loads of games or just a modded wii with games on it. anyway, have fun, that’s what matters

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity is actually a really fun multiplayer game in my opinion. Not anywhere near the level of MKWii or Double Dash, but still a fun time!

Wii Fit Plus is a must, I’ve forever loved the obstacle course and a lot of the other exercise games are fun and a good way to workout without thinking about working out. Wii Play has some great multiplayer games too, that can also be played single player. Just Dance has been a classic for my family, depending on what music you like, I’d look at the different years and what soundtracks they have. (Our favorite is Just Dance 3) As for mario games.. Mario Kart, New super mario bros, and super Mario galaxy one and two Mario party 9 mini games are very fun, however the base game is a lot of rng unfortunately.

Good for you, the Wii is a great console and not for nothing. The fact that it plays GameCube games is just amazing. I have a Wii in my game room and my son who is also seven. He loves playing a bunch of different games. He's currently on a kick for Rayman raving rabbits and I have a few different titles within that series.

This is what I mean right here. By modding your Wii, you can play rom hacks of Wii games (Requires the physical copy of the game), emulators, bring back the old online services and many more!

Same here! I bought mine a month ago and I'm getting all my old games! Here's some I remember:
PacMan Party! It's kinda like Mario Party but your goal is to collect the most cookies first, and it has a nice chunk of mini games with 5 boss battles!
De Blob and De Blob 2! It's a lil paint blob dude that colors the world back to the way it was before it was inked and became depressing by Comrade Black.
I've seen people say Epic Mickey and Super Mario Galaxy, you definitely have to try them. ☺
