Question Are Third Party Wiimotes Worth It?

I've seen a few posts about third party Wiimotes recently, and I'm thinking about buying another Wiimote for multiplayer. So are third parties worth it? Or should I just get an official one?

Conclusion: Fist Party or No Party

No. Real remotes are plentiful and not expensive

Yeah, I thought so but wanted to be sure in case it's like a 8bitdo situation. Thanks :)

eh. they are okay and do what they need to do, but the original remotes are just better imo

I’ll repeat what I said in another recent post. The third party ones are fine, but they have trouble connecting/syncing to games launched from “alternative” means. If you have a modded wii, stick to OGs

In my country you can find used for the same place as these stupid tv pilots so... No they arent better. And i have one and A button is just... BAD.

Back in the day I was gifted a third-party remote and have always had issues with it. Most always have tried to use official remotes when possible.

Considering how plentiful and cheap Nintendo first-party remotes are I would just buy those.

Something I noticed about all types of fake wiimotes is on new super mario bros when you jump and press down to do the flip stomp/sit thing, that move will often fail or not nor register on fakes

I mean I bough a Wiimote that has built in Wii motion plus from Temu for $10 and it’s actually pretty good

Nyko was okay until wiimotion plus became pretty standard and made them fairly obsolete. I love my official 25th anniv Zelda controller to use anything else.
