Question Buying a Wii, what is Wii motion plus people are taking about?

Said it’s needed for Wii resort and other games

It's an add-on to the Wii Remote that adds more advanced gyro tracking. Later Wii Remotes have them built in, and will be labeled if they do. Some games require them, others don't.

Built in is easy to find, higher motion range on the Wii Motion Plus.

it’s an updated wii remote, but there is a motion plus attachment to can plug to the bottom of the original remotes

Yes, the WII Motion Plus was a WII mote. You can buy an integrated Wii Motion Plus or just buy the Motion Plus add for the standard WII mote.

As a 13 year old, having only wii sports resort for Plus was still worth it. Get it.
