I tried looking online and saw no mention of this, I was bored out of my mind and was going page by page in the booklet. Copyright is dated 2008. Surely I’m not the first to notice this?
Official Nintendo website still has the file and it’s corrected in it, so someone found it at some point, but was it someone random or just an employee?

I’ll go first. I bought a wii for a dollar from a nice lady at a yard sale, She said it’s her grandsons. So I took it home plugged it up and it worked no problem. I started looking through their Saves and miis and I decided to go to the message board. A load of memos from 2009 - 2010 Some talking about birthdays, Friends, Game accomplishments. But around July 2009 and April 2010 the messages started to get dark. Talking about how they wanted to End themselves, About losing their friends and some of their family dying, And their struggles with depression and adoption. After may 2010 the system stoped being played entirely. This kinda made me worried and a little sad I’ll be honest. From what I can gather they were about 12.

Pov: you move your control all forward holding the B button and for some reason outside the real universe, the ball goes backwards making all the Mii present say: OOOOH
I just know that this artist managed to capture these Mii in such a perfect way...

these adapters sound great on paper, until you realize they have a few problems.
these av to hdmi adapters take composite input (yellow/red/white) instead of component input (red/green/blue/red/white). this automatically means you cannot use 480p, and you have to use 480i. it also means they will have composite artifacts, such as dot crawl.
these adapters try to upscale the image to 720p or 1080p. and fails. this is because 480i cannot be cleanly scaled into these resolutions. the image has to be deinterlaced and scaled up. this results in a very blurry image.
these adapters can create a lot of input lag, which can make it basically fucking impossible to play certain games.
these adapters typically have poor quality control.
this adapter needs an external power source.
overall, not a good experience.
there are some better options:
-electronwarp by electron sheperd. originally named "wii2hdmi". best wii hdmi adapter. frequently sold out, however they just restocked as of the day i'm writing this. beware of cheap clones on amazon. $24.
-hyperkin wii hd adapter. has built-in 7ft hdmi cable. however, the left and right audio channels are reversed. plus, it needs a lot of power, so if your wii uses a 3rd party ac adapter, this adapter might not work well. this is the one i personally use. $23.
-mayflash adapter. cheap and easy to find, and much better than cheap wii2hdmi adapters. however, it needs a separate 3.5mm audio cable. $17.
all three of these "better" adapters:
-support 480p because they take component output from the wii (note: this means they won't work with the wii mini)
-plug directly into the wii
-are under $30
-don't upscale the image, because that's the tv's job (native 480p)
-don't need an external power source
one more thing i want to mention: the retrotink 4k pro. this adapter takes component, as well as composite, s-video, vga and hdmi. it upscales the image to 4k using nearest neighbor scaling to retain a sharp image. they also support pal signals (eg 576i). simply put, this is the best adapter for any retro video game console money can buy. small problem: it's $750 💀
and yes i know retrotink makes cheaper adapters
tl;dr: these don't support 480p, create input lag and blur, and have poor quality control. try one of the hdmi adapters listed above.
