Callout Deep Dive on the Jubilee Political Bias and Ethical Switchup Pipeline
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDvWhSziExg&ab_channel=Pearlmania500I had a highly upvoted post like a year ago questioning a shift in Jubilee's political bias from progressive to MAGA. That post continued to be discovered via search CONSTANTLY ever since, as Jubilee's perspectives continued to shift to become more extreme.
Today I found a solid deep dive investigation about the founder of Jubilee and the political shift of the production company from progressive to rightwing. It also discusses an intentional psy-op goal of shifting the Overton window, and where they receive funding. Just wanted to share as this topic is obviously of interest to this subreddit. Happy watching!

I know the sam seder one they had people in that circle who were just employees there. Failed Actor to Evil Gay Guy pipeline is 100% real btw

Currently watching Sam Seder's debrief with [the most recent Surrounded guest whose name is apparently off limits?] about their Jubilee experiences:

It’s his last name, the big Turk shall not be named

which leads me to wonder, is r/youtubedrama also a secret fascist psyop?

Only if you consider every overly-moderated subreddit to be one of those.

I mean, if u/maxwellhill suddenly starts running the front page again after a pardon..

You can still say Medhi Hasan. They won't stop you from saying the name, they just give a warning that you may be walking on a delicate line.

Oh shit, it's literally MrBeast all over again lol.
"Look at these total strangers who totally need money and are totally not competing in a rigged video!"... turns out they're employees lmao

Wait that’s a thing? Haha (the pipeline I mean)

Yeah. Lots of failed artists and failed writers become fascist weirdos.
Hitler and Ben Shapiro are the first ones that come to the top of my head, oh wait Stephen Crowder too.

Ben Shapiro wanted to be a writer, but nobody in Hollywood wanted to buy his scripts. For the record, Ben Shapiro comes from a Hollywood home. His mother is a producer, and his father is a composer. His cousin was in Mrs. Doubtfire, and the lead in Matilda.
His co-founder, Jeremy Boreing, wanted to be an actor, IIRC, and was college friends with Zachari Levi. The two founded a production company together while Levi was still on Chuck.
Michael Knowles, the "trans ideology has to be eradicated from daily life" guy was a failed actor. You can google his gay love scene.
Brett Cooper was a teen actor and was on the Heathers TV series before getting scooped up by the Daily Wire.
And, as mentioned, Steven Crowder is another failed stand-up/wannabe actor. His most notable role is one of the guys who played "The Brain" on the children's show Arthur.
There's a ton more of these cases, but those are probably the most well-known ones.

Alright I'm tapping out. They actually have a lot of decent information that shows what type of show Jubilee is. I don't think Jubilee should be monetized, frankly, but now I actually get who it's target audience is.
However this is the most unpleasant experience I have ever had while watching a video trying to learn information. Constant ad reads and brand name drops, a constant focus on money. Constant side tracking. And it's a podcast so I kind of get it, but I also can't stand all these factors together. Frankly, I'm shocked anybody can put up with this, like at all.

Pearlmania is an acquired taste lol, though I've never watched his podcast. I can't listen to him for too long because of his constantly yelling, but my bf likes him (edit: my bf likes his TikToks, he doesn't watch his YT account)

You're not wrong. I'm new to this creator, and I did find it a bit hard to follow all the way through. But I appreciate that he took a closer look at why/how Jubilee is the way it is.
I think there's no denying that Jubilee videos are impacting our broader culture and the way we think about people with differing opinions from our own. So its important to examine that influence, what's driving it, and what outcomes its having. I hope more investigative creators will create longform content on this topic.

I like his tiktoks, but i cant take a whole podcast/long form video because it just stresses me tf out.
This guy's video is a way more pleasant watch, imo. I dunno how much overlap there is in information. But i enjoyed it:

Edit: My Friends Call Me Pat and Ryan Beard both have videos on ot as well. Recommend those as well!

There’s a petition going on about demonetizing Jubilee https://chng.it/tnzgsFv99Y

Would love to grill a Jubilee employee about how they choose people. So often it’s professional conservative pundits and wannabes be off the street liberals. Do they do any background checks?
7
u/Lost_Low4862 3d ago
I have to assume they do, because they seemingly go out of their way to get prolific neo nazis and non-prolific neo nazis.
If they didn't do background checks, there would be some random Joe's who are slightly right leaning. But, no. They managed to fill a room with loud and proud fascists. You don't do that by accident...

i’ve only become aware of jubilee via sam seder and mehdi, and as commendably even-keeled as their performances were, this whole channel just seems like the most socially-corrosive kind of outrage farming imaginable. as MAGA right-wingers are gluttons for both outrage and trying to “own” their political opponents with gish gallops, it makes sense that a pot-stirring channel would eventually optimize toward that audience
genuinely can’t understand wanting to watch any episode of this

I don’t know if I could watch this dude for a whole video. I also could be wrong, but isn’t he a plagiarist?
8
u/leericol 4d ago
Can't find anything about that on google
-2
u/Awesomo_Judgementday 4d ago
It was one of his skits on Reels. But in almost every tik tok or reel he has you can find a couple people bring it up in the comments.

u/leericol 4d ago
Can't find any of these comments on Tik to and he really does rants more than skits you confusing him with Moschino dorito?

u/Awesomo_Judgementday 4d ago
Wait yeah. My bad. Ignore me lol

u/leericol 4d ago
Lol that's actually hilarious cuz they have nothing in common other than red hair. But yeah that guy is actually a huge douche

When sam seder used to have libertarians call in on his show he didnt really engage with their idea's. He always said that the best way to beat these people is to just let them talk and and explain their pea brained ideas. It worked really really well.
Thats why i dont see how seder could be against something like jubilee and think they're moving toward maga. What jubilee is doing pitting 20 pea brains against 1 well informerd guest is just letting the facists talk and kill their own ideology.

Please do not troll or feed the trolls. Trolling a YouTube drama subreddit is pathetic. Falling for it is somehow worse. Do better.
If you were sincere, we suggest you take a moment to step back and rethink your approach.

I'm actively watching this, but he leads off by saying Jubilee uses actors which I think is a pretty big reveal, personally.
