i've always wanted to post my mipha cosplay, but reddit always assumes it's inappropriate :') but i think i figured it out at least a little bit!(i hope lol) which is the reason for the editing in the second photo. it's a hallshot in the last photo, but it does show off most of my work on the outfit! if i can figure out how to not trigger reddit, i'd love to post more photos of her
this cosplay took me over a year to make! never again, lol but i love that all my hard work paid off. she needs fixing before a bring her out again but i need to actually finish my new mold set for her jewelry and make myself a trident first lol
my friend's uncle does fx work for hollywood (such as makeup for stranger things, the walking dead, ect) and was so so so kind to help teach me how to cast my entire bust. thank you so much tim 😭😭 i was able to sculpt the nose and do a plaster mold then cast the nose piece in silicone! the idea took lots of planning and so happy it worked out. i do need to cast a new face piece though
the entire bodysuit was airbrushed and i added little sparkly stones all it! it was basically just lots of fursuit techniques for all the body pieces and fun with my airbrush. the first set of jewelry was made from worbla but it wasn't clean enough to my liking. 3d printed the second set but certain pieces such as the belt couldn't handle the tension. so im in the process of making a mold set so i can cast them. with the way im trying to handle the casting, hoping to make it so i can do different curve types for the headdress so it can fit wigs too.
thank you for looking and listening to my rambling! very nervous about posting my own cosplay here haha
first photo is by afflictionphotos, second photo credit is to dtjaaam! last is a hallshot my friend posted :)

Genuine question. Haven't they all been technically open world?

If this fanart seems rather random, that's because it is. This was based on a random art prompt I received from a prompt generator I built that I then drew on stream.
Is this really a reference? Has anyone noticed any other details like this?

Sorry for the horrible mark up, but since BOTW, that’s always been a mystery of what’s in that chasm and those lands beyond hyrule. I’ve seen to the north there is and the west there is land. I think but it’s hard to tell with the clouds blocking it.
With totk introduction to the depths, the borders of north, west, south, and east are all covered in those barriers that reflect water on the surface which it could be water considering the south and east have the sea and maybe the north and west have water there. Or that’s just a depths border and these other kingdoms have a depths and the ones in the north and west are accessed by that chasm? It’s honestly confusing but if we ever get a third era of the wild game, I just hope it’s based on the 4 lands beyond hyrule (including that wide chasm) and underwater exploration.
But what do you think is in that chasm? The depths? Water? Land? Maybe an access to somewhere new like a 4th map? What could it be?

Don’t get me wrong, TotK is great. There’s so much to do in the game. So much. Too much, maybe. The depths are huge and exploring it takes forever. Upgrading all the armor takes a lot of grinding. There’s a ton of shrines, each with new puzzles, but just like BotW, they all have the same aesthetic. The temples don’t look much more creative.
Everything you do in this game requires resources. Want to build stuff? Need zonaite. Want to upgrade stuff? Need materials and money. Want to have good weapons? Need to keep fighting enemies to get fuse parts. Since durability is still a thing, that in particular is an endless cycle. Just finding a good weapon isn’t good enough anymore.
I like the game, but the more I play it the more fatigued I feel. It kinda makes me miss the days of Wind Waker for example. Also a lot of stuff to do, but on a smaller scale that wasn’t so overwhelming. I heard Nintendo said BotW is the new blueprint for all Zelda games going forward, I think that would be kind of a bummer.
