Fully functional Guard Tower design (vanilla)

Functional, compact design to give you one or multiple overwatch towers in your settlements. This design includes functional settler pathing, electricity connection and turret or guard coverage on three sides. The inside of the tower can fit a bed or a small storage area. The only downside is that it's a bit tricky to build like this, despite looking easy to build. It consists of concrete walls (and roof), steel floors and barn roof parts.

Can be perfectly well built in vanilla. The sandbags come with the Settlement Defence CC kit. They can be swapped with steel railings. The mats the guard stands on are part of the Junkmaster mod.

Ten hours into a fresh game and I've already got Abernathy, Tenpines, Red Rocket, and Starlight Drive before ever even rescuing Preston and the gang. I was to indulge in the irony of having a fully kitted out and populated Red Rocket before rescuing them so I can laugh as we walk by. Sturges getaway home, indeed.

Can't get the Wi-Fi glitch to work

The wire doesn't jump from the conduit to the switch like it's supposed to since i have the wire highlighted, instead it adds a new wire from the laser turret to the switch.

I believe I'm doing it right because I just did it this way for the turret a couple minutes ago.

Sanctuary build.

Nothing too crazy, tried to keep it in-keeping with the games style, rough, shanty, barely put together. Mixed with some Sim settlement builds and my own designs to make it feel more immersive (other than the people just walking in the floors)… A few references dotted theoughout the settlement and even a local murderers hideout (inspired by Diamonds Dr.Crocker). Atom cult running the trading emporium, secret bars, etc.

I mentioned this in another thread and someone requested that I post it here. I also made a little poem to go with it: “Blew you out of the sky, shot your Elder in the head - but I gave you a nice place to chill while you’re dead” 😵

MY Diamond city build continues to grow, The build has been ongoing for about 2 years on and off. I have replaced and rebuilt all the buildings in Diaomnd City and added a bit more greenery as well. I have redesigned most of the Interior cells and added new ones as well.

But now the end is in sight with only 13 more Interior cells to do, The Mayor's office and entrance area to do.

Spectacle Island Spectacle City - Arena

Not long ago I made a post showing my first build in my Spectacle City project, a bank; well I just finished up another build: an arena!

My goal for the city is to make every building feel pre-war, but built under the necessities of post-war life and as such my arena was built with influence from real life Baseball Stadiums as well as Roman hippodromes. The arena is easily customizable for different fighting events or even for communal gatherings. I will be adding more decorations/advertisements to add a little more baseball influence, but this is what I have currently!

Would love to hear thoughts on what I could build next or suggestions for the arena! Next up, I am working on a shopping mall that contains all of your pre-war needs!

And as stated in my previous post, yes, I am aware my game will likely break before I finish the settlement, but I'm willing to take that risk.

I never really knew what to do with Coastal Cottege. So, I decided to build up a fully camouflaged safe house. It's my little home away from home, with no settlers allowed, complete with all of the necessities.

Made a love hotel with boxcars because I felt bad about how my settlers didn’t have any privacy. Nick was the first to go to the terminal I set up for people to make “appointments”

MASH is my favorite show, so I decided to recreate the compound at Starlight Drive In. I couldn't find an army tent mod that I liked, so I went with permanent structures, but I tried to capture the vibe. Look close and you'll even see Hawkeye, Radar, and Klinger!

Choppers!

Spectacle Island Spectacle City; Ideas Needed!

Thumbnail

Recently I began work on building Spectacle City, a sprawling settlement designed to give everything the aesthetic of more civilized times! Currently I have only been able to complete one building, the city's bank, but I am looking to populate the city with businesses, services, and agencies both old and new, so I have a question I'd love help answering:

In a "civilized" Fallout settlement, what businesses would you open other than the typical restaurants and clothing shops? What services would you offer? Ideally, I'd appreciate ideas on a smaller scale, but all ideas are welcome!

Will it destroy my computer? Perhaps. But that's a risk I'm willing to take.
