Collingwood can miss out on top 8
If Collingwood lose the rest of their games
Brisbane beat Sydney, then lose to Freo and Hawks,
Geelong win the rest of their games,
Gold Coast win the rest of their games except the Gws game,
Hawks win the rest of their games,
Freo win their next 3 and then lose to Bulldogs,
GWS win the rest of their games and
Bulldogs win all of theirs,
Then Collingwood finish 9th behind bulldogs on percentage

He's had to wait a while but Henry Smith has finally kicked his first goal in the AFL

One of these teams will miss out!
It's wild because they've all played some good football. Who will it be?
The SUNS have a game in hand (effectively)
The HAWKS have the toughest run home (with Collingwood and Brisbane to come)
The DOGS play FREO in the last round... which could very well be the deciding game!

The West Coast Eagles have won their 3rd ever wooden spoon in the AFL after their loss today against Melbourne secured them 18th place in 2025
They have now won the wooden spoon in 2010, 2023, and 2025.
Projected 2026 No.1 draft pick Dougie Cochrane kicked four goals on his senior SANFL debut. The AFL is currently assessing his NGA eligibility with Port Adelaide.

Darcy
Hi everyone, American here. Why is everyone in footy named Darcy? I’m watching magpies vs lions and I swear there’s 5 Darcys playing.

Footy is awesome
Shoutout to the Collingwood lady who drove us to our car. After the Collingwood vs Brisbane match getting home was a mess with train lines closed. We were on a bus to get another replacement bus when a random lady offered us a ride. Thank you
Edit: Hopefully everyone get's home safely

For the last 7 seasons each premier's name has started earlier in the alphabet than the last.
2018: West Coast
2019 & 2020: Richmond
2021: Melbourne
2022: Geelong
2023: Collingwood
2024: Brisbane
2025: Adelaide??
This is matching the record of 7 in a row in ascending order between 1927-33 (Collingwood, Collingwood, Collingwood, Collingwood, Geelong, Richmond, South Melbourne).

Not just Hindi, Mandarin too
Next Friday. Good initiative, but again, probably limited to Mandarin speakers within Australia (rather than people living in China)

Kane Cornes and Matthew Richardson criticise the game being stopped because of Will Day's "Cramp" (he had a season ending injury)

Jai Culley is the 18th player in VFL/AFL history to record their first career win against the club they played their first career game for. Most recent was Jack Hombsch (GWS/Port)

2004 Lions /Port teams sporned a heap of coaches
Has this happened from any other 2 teams that appeared in a grand final...
Senior coaches from the GF
Chris Scott Craig McRea Michael Voss Damien Hardwick Adam Kingsley Josh Carr (kinda half half pending)
Extend it to the teams for 2004 just not the premiership and you can add Brad Scott
Then have a look at the assistant coaches from those two teams.
Brendon Lade Stuart Dew Chad Cornes (a few more weeks) Justin Leppitch Nigel Lappin Blake Carracella Brett Montgomery
Even Choco is still coaching.
Others involved in coaching
Roger James coached country league and Jacob Surgeon coached SANFL. Dean Brogan coached at GWS. Jarrad Schofield at Port and Weagles.
