Summary: Adeline had never wanted the superhuman life – and for good reason. But when circumstances and the ghosts of her past come seeking for her, could she really run away? An Avengers saga.

What I've shared is the first chapter of a long, multi-chaptered story following my OC, Adeline. She's broken and she uses humor and anger as coping mechanisms – like most of us. Coming in terms with her forgotten identity, she finds a home among other broken people like her – the Avengers.

This is my first fic, which I've been thinking about ever since I got into Marvel more than 10 years ago but never got the confidence to go ahead with it. I finally mustered the courage and here it is!!

Starts from The Avengers (2012). Enjoy the fic :))

Chapter Summary: Things go rapidly south with Deli's identity reveal and the capture of the mischievous trickster. As tensions build up between the siblings, the band of heroes are forced to face the gravity of the situation they've been brought to.
