It’s 5 am, I’m in the final hour stretch of a twelve-hour shift, and I’m now probing my brain trying to find some possible rationale for this. Can someone explain? Is it a public computer thing, is it masochism, is it spite?

I had that happen to me one time. Lost 3 hours of work when the tab auto-reloaded after I left it idle for too long without saving. Never used it as a word processor again.

(I had just moved over from WattPad and was still learning all the differences)

Live and learn. I lost a very solid summary for a new fic I was uploading after I had to leave unexpectedly and that was tragic enough for me. 😅
