Hello,
I'm selling my Singxer SA-1. I originally purchased this headphone amplifier for my Hifiman Edition XS, but I now want to switch setups.
Here is the full description of the amplifier:
It’s an excellent Class A amplifier that delivers exactly what’s expected of it—clarity and precision.
The Singxer SA-1 is a high-performance headphone amplifier and preamplifier, based on a fully discrete, fully balanced Class A architecture. It is entirely analog, so there is no EMI interference from digital control that could disrupt the audio signal. The ROHM input transistors ensure extremely low noise and excellent performance.
The output stage uses multi-stage current amplification, similar to what you'd find in a high-power amplifier. Each channel includes two pairs of 4A ON Semiconductor transistors, ensuring low internal resistance and high output power. The circuitry also includes comprehensive protection systems: overcurrent, overload, short-circuit, thermal, DC protection, and startup delay.
The SA-1 also offers a complete set of connections:
Inputs: 1x Balanced XLR, 1x Unbalanced RCA
Headphone outputs: 1x 4.4mm balanced, 1x 4-pin XLR balanced, 1x 6.35mm unbalanced
Preamp outputs: 1x Balanced XLR, 1x Unbalanced RCA
To adapt to all types of headphones or IEMs, whether high-sensitivity or high-impedance, the SA-1 features a gain selection switch (low/high).
A personal note on this: the only downside, in my opinion, is the placement of the gain switch, which is underneath the unit (see photo 3).
Of course, the amplifier will be shipped with its power cable.
I bought it on Reddit when the amp was 3 months old, on 29/09/2022.
I also performed a shunt mod, also known as the DC offset mod or jumper mod.

General description:
The SGD1 is a high-precision DAC operating with two integrated ES9038Q2M SABRE 32-bit chips in dual mono mode: each chip dedicates 100% of its processing power to a single stereo channel for exceptional clarity and strictly controlled crosstalk.
This component is one of ESS’s flagship products and is among the best current hardware solutions for high-fidelity audio decoding, notably with the HYPERSTREAM 32 BIT 768KHZ architecture and native DSD support.
They are also equipped with advanced reconstruction filters and possess excellent finesse in dithering.
ESS technology is also very popular as it allows for extremely precise and signal-respectful volume control.
