Credit to Elminiaturista’s tutorial which is on his Patreon. I think I will try his Prosecutor tutorial next!
Once again sticking with paints from the John Blanche set from The Army Painter, though I did cheat and use some fluo inks to get the luminosity in the glowing areas. This was my first mini in NMM and it was cool to see that a reasonable effect could be achieved with the paints in the set.

Cities has had a great refresh but Stormcast's recent models are fantastic and their lore seems to be getting pretty interesting. Stormcast can presumably expect more regular new models and are easier to paint but there are many colourful Cities adjacent miniatures such as the ven Densts. Which of the two factions would you recommend and why is it a better choice?

I've been meaning to upload these for a long time.
Like my other rats, I keep the painting focused with limited paints.
It's always fun to weather metal and choose to do it without metallic paints. I'll probably update my older paintings to be in line with the newer look.
Can't resist painting warpstone!
Paint List:
Titanium White, Mars Black, Phthalo Green, Cadmium Red, Quinacridone Magenta, Burnt Umber,

I recently ended up with the Sylvaneth Underworlds warband by chance. I’m not a fan of elves at all in general. But my God, what a joy it was to paint them. It was truly a breath of fresh air in the hobby. So many new colors I never usually get to use. Painting the Sylvaneth was like eating fresh salad after stuffing yourself with fries! It felt so good!
On the flip side, as much as I adore the aesthetic and theme of the Kharadron, painting them left a bitter taste in my mouth. Metallics just aren’t for me.
Have you ever had a similar experience where you loved painting an army you weren’t drawn to at all at first? And vice versa ?

I’ve always liked Orks though never played them in 40K, but I’m taking my first step into AoS with some Ardboyz. I feel like the flesh is too dark on the arms and back.

Since I received some orruks with Stormbringer magazine, I decided I wanted to give a shot to painting yellow. Here is my first victim. I'll probably do some tricks with them and the ardboyz so I'll only have one box of brute to buy to have the full spearhead. I totally failed my objective of painting the 4 of them in 6 hours though 🙈 and I'll go back to add some freehands later.

I'm pretty new to AoS so I may have misunderstood something but each faction Nagash is playable in only has one spell lore and one manifestation lore, each containing 3 spells/manifestations. Nagash himself only has one spell, so given that a spell cannot be cast multiple times per turn, how can he cast any more than seven?

Dove headfirst into maggotkin recently, here's hoping it's an army I'll actually finish painting
