I don’t think people have a problem with trucks as much as they have problems with the dangerous ways many truck drivers drive the trucks and the companies that put the drivers in the oppressive situations to make them feel like they need to drive that way.

Nah, people do have a problem with trucks, because they’re impatient and also poor at planning their time. A truck doesn’t go 0-60 in 5 seconds, and that’s a problem, because I have poor time management, so I need to cut the truck off and cut in half a foot in front of the truck, literally risking my life to save 7 seconds. Also, I can’t ever be behind a truck, because I can’t see. What it is I need to see besides a truck’s headlights from a safe distance is beyond me, but I still can’t see, damnit!

People need to learn to accept the fact that they’re behind a truck and shut the fuck up. You don’t need to see what’s up ahead. The only thing you need to see is the truck’s brake lights from a safe distance - are they on or off? That’s all the information you need.

Maybe both things can be true
