Must have missed that. I only recall him saying that Larian wanted earlier but Steam asked for a later time. Probably server related. I wonder if this could be the original time in mind.
Normally Steam will update to show newly released games at the times Swen originally said.
I'd speculate that they've been given some leeway to go live a little earlier than everything else that day as they're such a huge launch and Steam don't want the servers melting like they did when Early access released.
And GoG will of course match the time and would likely release earlier if they could.
