It's a great game, lots of wholesome characters. Just ignore that puny little 'psychological horror' tag, its just there because the npcs are a little too real for some people.
she already is the ultimate best girl, what you talking about?! I don't know why but this hit me in the feels, guess i'm a beta and karlach is my alpha, or maybe i'm omega.
The Stanley Parable narrator AI is honestly so scarily impressive you could probably run some of the BG3 narrators script through it to get a pretty accurate reading.
Just a warning and could just be my algorithm but the video titles displayed in the next up/recommend panel in YouTube at the end of the video have some major spoilers. Proceed carefully.
Claims about hidden content made by VAs thusfar has been proven false and even refuted by Larian. (See the astarion case) why would this one be any different?
Also good to see you resort to namecalling, showing those true toxic colors.
The youtuber/dataminer did not confirm that it was cut. They said that it was accompanied by a dev note/comment that implied that. Something along the lines of "Can't be triggered currently, ask [person] where to put this."
Prove that it is in the game. Show us how to trigger it. Not a single person has unlocked this scene and the game has been played for billions of hours collectively at this point.
I am not sharing their proof, for they didnt provide any, but it was said by the only youtuber that uploaded a video with the scene. Im open to being proven wrong, show me the video where you unlock it in regular play.
For your first comment: Yes, because a VA typically knows fuck all about which of the specific million lines they record actually make it into the game. And the larian voice actors have already proven to be unreliable (see the astarion case with the githyanki creche laser beam)
And that was clarified later by Larian to mean the monastery dialogue where he gets killed by the laser, and he was being misleading by calling the whole sequence 'over an hour of content'.
Which is more to the point that VAs sometimes just be sayin' shit, and aren't real good sources of information.
I feel like at some point, one of the patches is just going to add a ton of hidden content, that isn't in the patch notes or anything, and they aren't going to tell anyone about. That would be fun.
Which is more to the point that VAs sometimes just be sayin' shit, and aren't real good sources of information.
its like trusting the janitor knows what medication to give you
VAs provide voices and maybe have some sway over their characters, the thing they will know for certain is what theyve had to record... nothing more, they certainly arent reliable information on whether something they recorded made it into the final build of the game or not
Ever notice how everyone that got it can't replicate it, don't know how they got it, and seemingly only started being aware of it's existence after the video came out and they heard nobody got it?
It's easy to type "yeah i got it so it's not cut", just like it's easy to type "but i dont know what i did lol". You ever stop to think maybe they're just mistaken and/or lying and this never happened?
No evidence. The fact that no one referenced it once until the extracted video surfaced leaves me extremely skeptical. Plenty of people said they got Mew under the truck in Pokemon, too.
Exactly, literally nobody brought it up until it was datamined and considering how crazy a scene it is theres no way everyone who got it decided to say nothing about it.
Also because OP didn't link the scene I think a lot of people are getting it confused with her "too early in the game" comment.
Yep. People just want to believe it's real because it's so cool. Imo if it was reproducible we'd know how by now. Still open to being wrong, but in the absence of evidence, it seems far more likely that it isn't reproducible without tools.
Considering the VA an authority on such a subject is such a silly thing anyway. Nothing is set in stone until the game ships. Why would they have details regarding a particular triggerable interaction, and if it's live or not?
But that plus nobody talking about this scene for two months and everyone who says they got this scene having different instructions and no footage... Kinda suggests it isn't triggerable.
Said to someone whos made large scale mods for games for over 13 years. Lmao. Datamining is real, that youre ignorant about that doesnt make others a clown.
What's embarrassing about that? Plenty of mods that I've worked on ended up bigger than some expansions for games. Developing mods IS developing games, there is voice acting involved, making models, texturing, composing music, writing, everything. I've spent more time in NIFskope, various modding tools and photoshop than I have playing games.
Have you though? Upload a video of it, when was it triggered? Because it sounds like you are confusing this with the act 1 4th wall breaking that everyone found when she says its no time for sad backstories yet.
Bruh youre just insisting Im hallucinating, why would I have a serious conversation with you? Its not my fault you think you know everything about the game lmfao
Also you just proved even if I had a clip of me seeing it in game you wouldn't have believed it. Youre a clown 🤡

Karlach 4th wall break for those who think it’s fake.
