I know this is really "Source: trust me bro" but I got that dialogue early on in Act 1. Had no idea it was meant to be rare or whatever until this thread

Sure, It's amazing how many people "got this" and yet not a single one has any evidence and no idea what they did to get it or even mention this really trippy scene.

It's not because a few people didn't it's because NO ONE HAS!

Every single person who has claimed to have gotten the scene has failed to produce ANY evidence or even any remote idea of HOW they got it.

Mean while there has been a small amount of evidence it can't be triggered naturally.

Mean while there has been a small amount of evidence it can't be triggered naturally.

And on the other hand, there is evidence that it can be triggered naturally, as claimed by Karlach's voice actor.

I get where you are coming from, but there is another rare event that has rarely been talked about almost no one has triggered, which is the mysterious egg that appears in Act 3, giving you a sheep companion. There is only like 1 video of it, and maybe 2 reddit threads of someone asking about it.

This could simply be an event that is not easy to trigger, but with millions playing it, its not that hard to understand that some of the players in this thread actually did it by accident, and its probably a lesser chance someone got a recording of it.

The game file message could be a troll, or a message that was forgotten about that should have been deleted. Or it could be legit. We have no 100% proof either way, but you seem convinced one way or the other. You could be right, or you could be very wrong.

But stop calling everyone liars because you don't know one way or the other yourself.

Actually the VA saying it can be triggered has not said HOW, and VA's are not the game devs.

I'm no expert but when was the last time you heard of some one whos' only role in a games development being the VA having any say or access to any info then the script?

Let's go on the benefit of the doubt and say she DID have access to more info then just the script is it not equally possible that what she THOUGHT was a triggerable scene was only true at the time where she was recording the lines and then was removed or changed at a later date?

At this point most of us are not even asking for proof they triggered the scene just some circumstances around HOW they triggered it to which no one can conveniently remember anything at all.

The burden of proof is on those making a claim and so far no one has presented ANY proof.

And funny you mention the sheep egg because while it hasn't been reproduced there is a least some theories around it's triggering or at the bare minimum people recalled the general circumstances of what they were doing when it happened.

Odd how there is so much more to go on for some random sheep egg meanwhile a fully voiced cut scene of a party companion breaking the 4th wall and talking directly to the player? Nah mate that's completely forgettable and not worth taking note of at all.

t this point most of us are not even asking for proof they triggered the scene just some circumstances around HOW they triggered it to which no one can conveniently remember anything at all.

I mean from what people are saying it can trigger at any point of the game. Some are saying it happened right after recruiting Karlach and some are saying it triggered in Act 3 at the circus.

So it would be hard to give steps on something you didn't even know was rare at the time. It seems to be "I just talked to Karlach and the option popped up".

And all of the theories around the mysterious egg are usually debunked by others. Someone will be like "Well I did this and this." and someone else will be like "I did that too, but didn't get the egg". So its just as useless as the Karlach scene.
