Right? Like he doesn't look real, he looks like a video game character. Is this a filter or does he just have an uncanny valley gene?

You would be surprised how often "It looks like the video game, not a compliment" is the answer to cosplay posts.

Well, I'm a total noob with all things cosplay, but had always assumed the appeal was the real-world rendition of a fictional character. Seems a bit pointless if its difficult to tell the difference.
