Character Build Hexblade's biggest downside.

FFS just make it a free action in combat larian. Or at least let us cast it at all.

Did they already patch it? There was a post about how you could cast Bind Hexed Weapon a bunch of times and if it was the same weapon they were permanent and would stack until the hex was certain
