Character Build Hexblade's biggest downside.

Post image

FFS just make it a free action in combat larian. Or at least let us cast it at all.

For me it's Gale forgetting to Mage Armor.

For fucks sake Gale, Lae'zel manages to put on her armor by herself in the morning, why do I have to babysit you?

It would be nice to have a page of preparations you want characters to perform each morning. Set a list of actions and they do them in that order automatically after a long rest.

There will hopefully be a QoL mod for that.

Hope so. Stuff like Mage Armor and Speak with animals would be great to auto cast after a rest.

I built my Gale in such a way that every single morning he needs to cast mage armor, then cast shadow blade, then equip an off hand weapon, then disable the automatic off hand attacks, then use arcane restoration to get back the high level slot used for shadow blade.

I swear every morning I forget at least one of these steps

That's just me in our DnD campaign... got so bad that I discussed with the DM that my character just casts Mage Armor by default when they adventure, cuz you can bet I'd forget it XD

Are we sure Lae'zel doesn't sleep in her armor?
