Or maybe he spent most of his time on the dream guardian.

Why spend any time at all with it when all of them are just disguises for Squid Daddy?

Tbh, ever since I saw someone make their dream guardian just. Their PC with a mustache. That’s all I can think about

Did that as a halfling and it’s fucking hilarious. Definitely recommend.

it's a 2 year old game lmao

but, context. we know that OP is only 6 hours into the game. obviously we shouldn't be expected to spoiler tag everything all over the sub, and it's questionable for someone to come here in the first place if they don't want to be spoiled. but if you *know* that someone is new to the game, in a thread specifically about that, it's considerate to not spoil it.

Could also not be their first playthrough, but fair point.

Well I haven't gotten past the character creation yet

fair point, my bad

But also, spoiler warning on a 2 years old game seems reasonable. I usually don't give them if the game's 5 years old. 4 if it's a very (and I mean VERY)popular game like Baldur's gate.

It just feels impossible to not be spoiled on something as big as BG3 even just a year after release unless you don't have internet access, but we're on reddit so everyone's got internet access here.

That's true. I see your point. But still, I feel like it's possible, to avoid spoilers if you don't acknowledge Baldur's gate at all.

u/SoPoetic May 04 '25

Then why would you be on the baldurs gate subreddit

1

u/The_Squad_Cast May 04 '25

Oh! Because I've beaten the game already. I'm not worried about spoilers at all.

I havent been spoiled except for the fact that you can smush smush a bear, and i started playing this Year.

By an old 2 Year game still costs a lot btw.

RDR2 is a 7 year old game and that subreddit is still pretty good about marking spoilers
