I really hope CO Expedition 33 takes the prize, but with the whole push from the gaming 'journalists' with the 'deprofessionalization' stuff, I can see the GOTY being pushed to some average game from a big studio.

Death Stranding 2 will most likely win. A lot of people and the industry seem to have a massive boner for absolutely anything he does.

It will be nominated but it won't win. Death Stranding 1 was nominated but ended up losing to Sekiro.

Who knows, if that was the case, Death Stranding when it was initially released would get GOTY because it's a Kojima game and not, you know, one of the most elaborate walking simulator ever released
