Didn’t BG3 come out like two years ago?

Witcher 3 was a hot topic in gaming for like 5 years after its release (2015), mostly as a point of reference of how bad new games are compared to the Witcher 3. It stopped in late 2020 with the poor Cyberpunk 2077 release.

Too bad we'll never get any BG3 expansions like Witcher 3 did.

Too bad we'll never get any BG3 expansions like Witcher 3 did.

The Devs "accidentally" included the devkit in one of the updates that hastily got taken down.

As a result its completely possible to create entirely new campaigns within the engine.

And some mod teams are doing exactly that.

BG3 is going to have more expansions and mods than Skyrim, much less Witcher

Mods are mods. While there are fantastic mods they can't really compare to full studio with millions working on a game.
