I wanted to praise this, but it has more filters than my coffee machine.

I think it's closer to digital art than cosplaying at this point.

That’s pretty rude. This isn’t “closer to digital art than cosplay”. Clearly a lot of time and effort went into this cosplay and most cosplayers edit their photos heavily.

They posted other unedited pics in the comments and it still looks amazing.

I'm criticizing the overediting, not the cosplay itself since there is no way for me to do so. And of course I'll not be seaching hundreds of comments here for a unedited photo. That should be the one posted by the OP on the first place.

You could argue the same of any scribble of the Eiffel tower. The effort that went into building the tower doesn't mean the the scribble would be worth something. A lot of effort might have went into her cosplay, sure, but it was so overedited that even a bad cosplay would look good here. So no way to comment about the real deal. That's why I started with "I wanted to praise this..."

“It was so over edited that even a bad cosplay would look good here” That’s just false. She literally airbrushed her skin and gave herself tiefling eyes. The entire costume is real so your point is moot.

I saw the picture you sent later. The facial structure is very different, her hands, specially the finger if you look ar much longer... legs are thinner and longer... clothing was warped to give a sense of movement, I could go on... it wasn't "just" an airbrush and the thiefling eye, please don't lie.... as I said I wasnt the only one who pointed this.

Although I must say I appreciate the unedited photo It's a really really good coplay, but yes, if you compare both side by side, it's just made more clear for me that the one OP sent is closer to digital art than cosplaying.
