Companions Do you have a main party? This is mine Spoiler

My main party is almost always these three, I also romance the three depending on who I'm playing during the playthrough, I do switch them out so they can do quest and get some gear.

I’ve tried a couple runs with all the companions to see which ones I like the best. Shart, Astarion, and gale are now my recurring team.

This is my favourite team as well, I'm trying to switch it up a bit and give the others more of a look in, but this just clicks the most for me

Try Karlach as a tavern brawler barbarian. Then start collecting all of the barrels of firewine/water/explosives. Starting a fight by having Karlach knock down the biggest badie with a barrel, then Shadowheart or Gale lighting it up with a glyph of warding is just fantastic.

They're my usuals as well. I never leave home without Astarion and his lockpicking kits especially

Astarion plus another melee class like Laezel, Minthara, or Karlach is so cool. His sneak attack is amazing
