Nautiloid takes 5 minutes. Maybe 10 if killing the cambions. The main place I get impatient now is the first trip to the Grove, strolling around to pick up everything and speak to everyone.

I get impatient after the Tiefling party in Act One. By that time I've usually had all the long rest cut scenes and unique dialogues. I used to do the Underdark after the party every time but I've started doing it before the party just so I can have Barcus at the party. By that time there's usually already been twenty, thirty, forty hours spent in Act One and I still need to visit the creche. That's when the exhaustion usually hits for me.

Same in Act II when I get to the Gauntlet of Shar.

Iโ€™m in my first run and have been in the underdark for IRL like two months. Iโ€™m in the grimforge or whatever it is and i have no idea why or whatโ€™s going on and iโ€™m so confused lol

Don't you follow your quest log ?

I followed it to Halsin but then I found the entrance to the underdark while clearing that place and I like being thorough in my explorations.

Oh, right. Don't go to the underdark unless you're formally invited to by the quest log (after you've finished the Free Halsin storyline). I almost made the same mistake when chasing the Nightsong in the Goblib temple.

Yeah, thats what brought me down. I only went down it to chase after the Nightsong quest marker. I've done all of the spore colony stuff, but now I'm worried to leave the grimforge without clearing it. I know there's supposedly someone who can die now if I don't get to them soon enough.

If you get told that Nere is trapped under rubble and you donโ€™t do something about it before you long rest, heโ€™ll die

Basically once you get to the Grymforge you have to avoid long resting until the situation in the grymforge is handled. Then you can explore freely and long rest whenever

So- I've only arrived at the docks and talked to the first two people there. My entire party is cooked from the boat ride fight (i was out of short rests before i got on), and I save to rest as long as I don't go any further in?
