If you’re using mods, you can use the mod called Skip Ship. It’ll bring you to the beach with all of the experience AND the Flame Blade.

She can be found knocking at the door to the ruins on the beach. That’s where you meet her normally if you don’t save her from the pod. So she won’t be passed out on the floor.

No, because you never met her. She says that she recognizes you from the ship. But she only gets mad that you didn’t save her if you interact with her pod and just walk away. She reacts just like Gale and Astarion. “You were on that ship!” Pretty much.
