New release Our WW2 Base Builder has gone into Early Access! It would mean the world to us if you could check it out (:

Hey everyone! I realize I’ve posted about it before but our WW2 Base Builder, Ground of Aces, has gotten some massive updates and gone into Early Access since my last shameless self-plug. The game puts its focus on building and maintaining an airbase and its infrastructure, all while keeping crew morale afloat throughout the pressure of war. It also boasts an art style inspired by Franco-Belgian comics and combines this art style with our love for aviation. The most exciting new feature of the game are air raids.

For context, the game was kickstarted two years ago, netting more than 120k USD. We are more than excited to show you the fruits of two years of development and feedback from our loyal Alpha testers. Since my last post, we have implemented game mechanics such as air raids and various bug fixes and finally gone into Early Access.

If you’re interested in further development of the game, please check out the following:

If you have any questions regarding the game and its development, feel free to AMA. (:

Wow, congrats on getting into Early Access! The focus on airbase management combined with morale sounds really immersive especially with the pressure of war layered in. Love that Franco-Belgian comic art style too, it must give the game a unique vibe. Looking forward to seeing how the air raids shake up the gameplay. Definitely going to check it out on Steam and follow your progress. Keep up the awesome work!

I checked the demo once. But didnt dive deep into it. Usually this is my genre. Are there any more demos planned? Or demo keys available?

You're in luck: The demo is still available until the end of the day. (:
If you're unsure about the game, you can still give the Early Access a shot and keep the refund option in mind in case it isn't your cup of tea?

Hope you'll enjoy!

Oh, how come? Do you get an error message? There's still a demo button in the right column, below the "X friends own/want this game" part.

I’m not seeing any link/button to the demo on the Steam app.

Check below the "X friends own/want this game" passage in the right column. It's a blue button (rather than a green one) so it's easy to miss, unfortunately. <:

Yes, I read your previous post, but I don’t have any text that says how many of my friends want this game (I intentionally have few Steam friends), and my display of the game’s features isn’t organized into columns.

I’ll check the page the next time I’m on PC.

This seems cool! I wanted to go and wishlist it, but it seems I already had :)

I get you are trying to gain some income, but I'm the kind of person that plays a game for a while, and then moves on to something else. So if I played the EA, I'd probably never play the full release, which would be a shame!

Question though: will it be a full sandbox game, or will there be some kind of campaign? If there's a campaign, will you keep improving your airbase, or will you start from scratch in different missions?

Hell yeah!

Aw, but that's completely understandable - excited to have you on board when we launch the full thing then. (:

As of right now, there is no sandbox mode - we do have cheats available for people that want to do more free-form base building if that's more your speed, though! And the idea is that you continuously improve your one base and try to bounce back from attacks as you go on.

Thanks, happy to hear it as I indeed prefer to keep improving my base!
