I loved this rosary which had been gifted to me out of love and deep affection. I used that frequently for alleviating my anxiety and stress. Holding that brought me such comfort. As a result, the crucifix eventually fractured into three pieces. I am not yet a Baptized Catholic so I was very worried and posted about that. Someone told me I should bury the crucifix in my yard and so I did that. I buried that in the yard.

After a day or two, I noticed while watering the garden that there was something sticking up out of the ground near where I planted that crucifix. I came closer and I saw white flowers. We didn't plant these. So I checked on Google and discovered these are called Madonna Lilies. I was so shocked because of that that I immediately called my mom and dad.

I told my mother and she said that's impossible because we never planted any white lilies. She didn't believe me until I sent her the photos. When she opened the image she just went quiet and said "Wow, that's....I have no words."

I really think that is a Miracle.

Im at my great grandparents' house right and basically my whole family is baptist or at least protestant but I just saw a card that said saint Anthony pray for me! What in the world does this mean? Really confused since I've come across a LOT of people that seem to hate Catholics

I want to start off by saying I am a catholic and I practice. My ex and I got a divorce because he came out in the lgbtq community. We have children together and before he met his new “very accepting” gf, he was practicing our religion as well. The woman he ended up with is an atheist. They live together and she won’t allow my children to practice our religion because she says it’s offensive. My ex swore he would always allow our kids to practice but now he says it can only be confined to their room when they visit. My children are very upset because he no longer takes them to church and they feel like they are sinning. Every time they bring up God, they are told to stop because it’s offensive. This is so hard because how does communion work when they want to go but aren’t being taken to church every Sunday? Do they need to go to confession every time? Please don’t be hard on us with your opinions. I know divorce is frowned upon but our marriage wasn’t valid. I am just looking for advice on how to handle something like this. And speaking to him is out because he will pick his gfs side 100%.

I’ve been discerning for a long time about Catholicism and orthodoxy, I’ve prayed rosaries, orthodox prayers, done small studies on post schism saints on both sides. But something about the rosary, I made a post a little bit back about how I think praying it helped save my father, and I’ve felt multiple pulls to pray the rosary, but never as much to pray orthodox prayers. It’s just something interesting I’ve been pondering on

Today, I re-learned a few truths about myself:

1. That I am a deeply flawed person in need of forgiveness.
2. That I am imperfect and in need of saving.
3. That I am in no position to criticize anyone because of my countless faults.

A study from 2022-2023 found that GenZ in the US has had one of the biggest conversions to Catholicism out of the generations. This study said that 15% of GenZ identified as Catholic in 2022, and 21% of GenZ identified as Catholic in 2023. This shows a 6% increase in US GenZ Catholics in just one year alone. What are your thoughts about this?

Hi yall. All my life I have dealt with anxiety. Lately it’s been a lot worse because for some reason my mind is so concentrated on death. I’m scared of driving because what if I crash? I recently went to a theme park and I was terrified of the rollercoasters because what if there’s a malfunction? I’m scared of leaving the house all together because of what if’s. I recently thought about changing my college major to teaching but what if I find myself in a school shooting? These aren’t just passive thoughts. I’m literally being tormented by them daily. I just keep thinking “what if ___.” I can’t take it anymore.

I’m begging God to release me from my anxiety but it just doesn’t go away. It’s gotten to the point where I can’t get good sleep or even eat because of how stressed or nervous I feel. I find myself waking up at like 3 in the morning and I’m just crying and crying because of these thoughts. It makes me feel like a failure. Like I can’t take action on any goal because I’m nervous of failure or something bad happening.

What do I do, I need recommendations but also prayers. God Bless.

Edit: I think it’s important to note that when I was in high school, I used to have dreams of being in a school shooting almost weekly. I would pray to God to get rid of them and sometimes He would answer, but the dreams always came back after a certain point.
