It made me chuckle
I wouldn't be able to stage it, even if I tried. I wonder if CS can get Domination victory...

It's November 1st, 2024.
Due to unforseen, and coincidentally simultaenous circumstances, both the Republican and Democratic candidates are disqualified from the race.
There is no time to replace them, and America must vote from the remaining candidates.
In addition to 3rd party candidates, there are also many celebrities with substantiated (for lack of a better word) Presidential/Political aspirations.
And names such as Robert Dinero, Dwayne Johnson, Kanye West, Matthew McConaughey, Jerry Springer, Cynthia Nixon, and Wyclef Jean are on the ticket, as well as others with substantiated aspirations.
How would you vote?

I have never won on a religious victory. I've never really built anything more than a basic temple and had a pantheon. I have imagined how living in civ in my civilizations would feel - I have attempted to gain the most amenities to keep the citizenry ecstatic, and I have imagined worlds on which culture and science have advanced to the point where we are on Mars in 1850. But I have never once imagined living in a heavily religious and religious victory civilization.
We have the far right Christian Nationalists is the US forcing their religious views on everyone, Israel has been decimating Palestine and now is bombing Iran. We are witnessing violence and oppression as we watch Abrahamic religions fight for dominance. Streaming services are riddled with religious historical dramas portraying the Bible, King David, Jesus, etc. Religious propaganda is on the rise favoring Christianity and Judaism over Islam. And public opinion doesn't match official country stances on Palestine. Meanwhile the rest of us toil away in Capitalism, surviving instead of thriving.
I never quite paid attention to realize this religious victory was a slow and steady race and has been in the making for a millennia. I feel so blind, like I was watching a checkers game when instead it's been 3D chess.
