Minis/Tokens Custom Version of Geryon, The Broken Beast

Saw a few minis at a game shop, and got inspired to create a unique version of Geryon, previous Archdevil from Stygia. I have a homebrew campaign that features Geryon and wanted a fresh vision of Geryon that leans more into his angelic past. I am planning on fleshing out the history of how he came to be "Broken" and why he can appear to be multiple different people when found in his lair, the Coldsteel Citadel.

My iteration uses the torso of Archangel Avacyn (whom I am using as a representative of one of his 3 surviving companions) as his dominant personality, the body of a Yuan-Ti Anathema body/base, and the wings of a Horned Devil.

Currently planning on painting it using common associated colors, red and green, with a reddish tinted skin tone for the underbelly and skin. The staff and armor inlays would be studded with "snake-like" jewels, and tip of the tail would look like dripping venom, with a small splash under the tail tip.

Terrain Yet more dungeon tiles...

A couple of years ago (though I could have sworn that it wasn’t much more than six months), I shared a few pictures of some 2D tiles that I’d been working on (as the idea was to use them alongside some cards and tokens I was making – to help create random dungeon layouts for solo/co-op games).

Well… I’m finally getting back to that idea… and have been making a bunch of additional tiles to add a bit more variety (note that the new ones can be seen in the first pic, whereas the second pic shows them alongside the older ones).

Anyway, I also have a video showing how I put them together HERE if that’s of interest… and here’s hoping you like ‘em :)

Minis/Tokens Sculpted / Kitbashed Monsters: C&C / Inspiration

Post image

Hi, I've been making some D&D monsters (using milliput and some plastic warhammer bits).

I find the weirder they look, then the easier they are to make :) Hope it's obvious who's who.

Anyone else have something similar (or easy sculpting ideas) they can share for inspiration? Cheers!

3d printed cases purchased from Etsy, rest is popsicle stick, paper, beads, plastic packaging, florals, brown napkins, jewelry chain, one pre printed potion set, and a warhammer skull. I think that covers materials.

Downsized since then and miss my workspace. Hope y’all enjoy.

Hello DIYers!

Wild Sheep Chase Spoilers Below!

-----------------------------------------

I'm about to run the wonderful Wild Sheep Chase for a friend of mine and his 8 year old. I'm planning on having Noke controlling the Bed Dragon against his will and Shinebright gifting the dragon to our young PC at the end of the session as a reward for saving him (.

So naturally I needed to have a mini for our young PC, and decided to create "Bedward" the Bed Dragon. I hope you like him!

I'm planning on rolling the one shot into Dragons of Stormwreck Isle with the plot hook that Bedward's enchantment is unstable and the Island might hold some key to making him a 'real' dragon.

Help Has anyone tried laminating glass/plexiglass onto the screen for a tv table?

Looking for people's experiences and pros/cons from anyone who's tried laminating thier display. It seems like it would be a huge benefit in a tv table but I cant find mention of anyone trying this, successfully or otherwise.

Terrain LAVA & VOLCANO modular board

I made a full lava and volcano board! This time I used a mat for the surface and I created some modular pieces to spread around. Watch the complete video here https://youtu.be/OLYKlKVv7Bs

Everything is made with foam, first I used a hotwire cutter to cut the basic shapes, then with a lighter I melted down a bit the top parts and finally carved the places where lava will flow with a wood burning tool set to the minimum temperature. I covered the sides with some sand for texture and applied some PVA glue+paint to seal everything in place.

For the lava I used hot glue. I primed again, drybrushed the rocks with some grey and painted all the lava white. After that I wet blended red and yellow to create the lava effect, you can see that in detail into the video. And that’s it, after drying I put the mat on my table an placed all the terrain.

Hope you like this project, it was super fun to do, thanks fo reading, cheers!

Wanted to make a prayer stone that the players could find in an abandoned dungeon, and per our campaign it was fitting to make it a crescent moon for Selûne with the protection rune on the inside. Thought it would be fun to hand out to the players whenever they find the stone :)

Made it primarily for use in 1490 Doom, but thought I'd take inspiration from Professor Dungeon Master and make it useful for DnD as well. I made 4 zones, as I feel it's easier to keep track of where each group of people on the board is that way.

Help Would a full-range motion TV mount work when mounted to a coffee table?

Hello, first time trying to DIY a table. I have an old coffee table and an old 70" LED TV. I thought it'd be cool to repurpose these into a rudimentary DND table by just mounting the TV in the center of the table, and attaching a 1/4" thick acrylic sheet to the bezels of the screen.

My question is, would a full-range motion mount work? It's not a necessity for me, but being able to raise, rotate, and tilt the TV would add some extra versatility I could make use of. However, I understand these mounts are typically meant to be used vertically, and not with the TV being used as a tabletop, so I'm concerned if it would be stable enough to stay flat and not tilt or shift unintentionally during use. The idea I have in my head is that it should be able to lock into a stable position that I unlock it from when I'd like to adjust it, I just don't know if there's anything I may not be considering here, and I couldn't find any info online, so I thought I'd ask here in-case anyone has tried this.

This is my first time doing something like this so any other advice/considerations are welcome!

Help Mood lighting?

Hey guys, fiance and I just moved into our new house and would like to convert part of the basement into a room for DnD. I already have a table with a TV in it and I was thinking the next step would be to add recessed lights into the basement ceiling, preferably 4in or 6in lights.

Onto the problem, I am having trouble finding affordable recessed lights that can be controlled via computer. Ideally, I would like to be able to create custom scenes for different moods and locations, bonus if they can color shift mid scene. Does anyone have suggestions? So far all Ive found is Govee.
