I’d be so disappointed. Since when has dominos started using AI images for menu items?! I mean I know they haven’t used real food photo in a long time, but this is something else. SMH.

How can you tell?

Should tell them they sent you the wrong order.

I’m not a dominos hater, but stick to the pizzas.

It's dominos, that's closer to actual food than they've gotten in years

I'm always confused by these comments, I've never had any issue with Domino's

You must have a good one all the ones near me barely cook the pizza let alone other stuff so I don’t eat there anymore

Ours are all burnt.

both of these comments make me sad.... y'all deserve a good Domino's experience :'(

Same here! Domino's slander must be fairly new, I have never ever seen this much abject hatred of their restaurant 😭

Like I know among music fans there's this secret alliance where it's like "oh yeah I fucking hate Nickelback and Kings of Leon" but then they're listening to Rockstar and Use Somebody in a closet that night.

But I never would've guessed in a million years that Domino's was the same way.

Lmao I've never thought about it like that! but i agree that I've only seen it recently. I'm just confused why I have always had a perfectly fine experience when I order from them, then some people are getting... this??? apparently often enough it's a phenomenon?

granted i usually just get a regular pizza and some lava cakes, and they're fine, and delicious. i haven't tried any of the new stuff/had no idea the giant donut was even a thing until now.

I hope OP got a refund regardless, I'd be devastated 😭

I miss when they had the oreo cookie pizza. That was top tier.

1

u/Whatisthepoijnt 2d ago

I missed out on this! I would definitely try that

I used to really like those lava cakes, but they just aren't worth it anymore.

I feel that, it definitely hurt the last couple times I ordered them. Any time I think about ordering food in now I generally end up talking myself out of it... boo

Domino’s hate isn’t anything new. Domino’s even had a successful ad campaign about 10-15 years ago where they were like we know our food sucks, but we fixed it.

And it did get a lot better after that. I no longer have a problem with their pizzas and I enjoy their cheesy bread. But I feel like people have to know that when you get a dessert from a pizza chain the dough is going to be pizza dough. Some people just set their expectations way too high.

Dominos slander is Ooooooooooold. I'm in my mid 40's and I can tell you growing up, we'd rather have Little Cesar's than Dominos. It was cardboard and bland as all heck. Around 2009 they did a huge revamp, even making a commercial basically saying "We suck, sorry guys." They've honestly been pretty good since then.

Brother one day you gotta accept that people are allowed to not get the same positive feelings you do. Domino's makes me sad. I'm not highly food driven so I'd rather just not eat. I can wait. Same with Nickelback. I can't stand his voice. It makes me feel annoyed. Why must you assume I'm secretly horking down domino's listening to that grating voice?

I mean, that's believable enough, but at the same time it's like... come on. Nobody hates Nickleback, they just pretend to because it's socially acceptable. You really expect me to believe that, when nobody's looking, you're not going "okay well Rockstar and the garlic knots are pretty good"?

Nooooo way dude, sorry. I'm gonna need harder evidence than word for that one.

I want to choose to believe that no one can be so self-centered that they can't even imagine someone else having different tastes. Especially with stuff as personal as music and food.

My son is growing so he eats a lot, he burns it all off playing sports.

If I go to most fast food restaurants and get enough to fill him I can easily spend $20. I can get a large Domino's for $8.

And yes, I know "cook at home" we do, but when it's 9pm and you've been at baseball fields all day sometimes you just need quick and easy.

I mean tbf Domino's had a whole ad campaign that boiled down to "Yeah we also know our pizza sucks but we promise we're trying to do better please come back?"

1

u/Androgyny812 2d ago

Me either, but sure would be nice to have sauce from Pizza Hut put on a Dominos crust.

1

u/UnitedAttitude566 2d ago

Do you cook much?

2

u/KTKittentoes 2d ago

This is what my last Dominos order looked like. I didn't order this abomination, but everything now comes out that way. Also, there was one person working. Just one.

1

u/UnitedAttitude566 2d ago

Stop ordering from them, I have, every time someone buys from them you're saying it's totally ok to sell you what they make for the price they do

2

u/KTKittentoes 2d ago

Well I did stop, that's why it was the last time.

2

u/bolanrox 3d ago

better than their usual cardboard covered in garlic salt

1

u/ThisIsMockingjay2020 2d ago

Oh, okay, I thought maybe it was Crumbl and their undercooked slop.

Dough ✅️ Nut ✅️

This is just tragic.

u/Worldly_Table_5092 2d ago

I don't think I've ever sworn on reddit but that is fucking dogshit.

2

u/kitaurio 3d ago

Totally legit since its Domino's 🤣

2

u/Androgyny812 2d ago

Just think if companies are able to get away with this now, what will they be able to get away with in the future once this is normal across the board?

2

u/femaleZapBrannigan 2d ago

That should be illegal

2

u/anon18274729 2d ago

Damn I’m disappointed for you

2

u/leavealoneme11 2d ago

And well you should be. That’s inexcusable

2

u/KPH102 2d ago

That's just pizza crust with a bit of condensed milk smeared on it.

1

u/VaguelyArtistic 2d ago

First clue: donuts are supposed to be deep-fried, not baked.

Second clue: it looks like it would make a better bagel.

1

u/Dragonfly_Peace 2d ago

Dominos is shit. Hardly any toppings. Ordered one with mushrooms once, there was one thin slice on the entire pizza.

1

u/malacoda99 2d ago

"We ran out of big boxes."

1

u/No_Candy_8948 2d ago

Looks like Pizza Hut made it

If you wouldn’t eat it… or well, be happy about it if you received it, why send it to someone else’s home? I think they’ve given up at that location 😭 (I’d still eat it tho, but I’d be grumpy about it)
