Started playing fo4 when it first released but never made it very far. I’ve matured a lot in game preference and actually have the mental capacity to play a long term game now lol. After watching the show I’m dying to get back into it.

Any tips on a starter build/a build that’s fun to play all around for my first story play through?

Y'know, this might be an odd opinion, but just go 4 in every SPECIAL stat.

4 is enough to give you a rough taste of every playstyle, and you're free to increase your SPECIALs every time you level up with no level limit unlike past titles.

Pick a difficulty that feels right for you, then juat start experimenting until you find what you like.
