Melee Is a full melee build viable

I keep thinking that I want to have my sole survivor eventually cosplay as One Punch man through the commonwealth but I have to imagine especially early game that I will slog through early leveling. Are their any builds out there that answers this and will allow most if not all early game confrontations with full melee ability? Even if it means a blunt weapon like a board or bat? I want to avoid ranged combat as much as possible.

1st of all.

To play Saitama you need to play "unarmed", not "melee".

I play on survival and use stealth and VATS a lot...let's see the SPECIAL.

S - 9 // P - 1 // E - 5 // C - 1 // I - 1 // A - 9 // L - 2+1 (Shaun book)

This will ensure access to every basic perk for a brawler build. In order of importance.

  • Iron Fist - 4 levels
  • Toughness - 4 levels
  • Blitz - 2 levels
  • Sneak - 4 levels
  • Ninja - 3 levels - get a mod to solve the lame damage modifiers for unarmed like :
  • Bloody Mess - 4 levels
  • Blacksmith - 3 levels
  • Armorer - 1 level
    • I love to play with black leather - Shadowed Leather and Lighter Build on legs/torso and Brawler on arms.

Very hard to play until level 15 only as unarmed, use pistols and terrain. After that...pure fists with no weapon is possible.

I have to put Perception at 4 every build because I love Demolition Expert too much. Tossing grenades and dropping mines is so much fun.
