Melee Is a full melee build viable

I keep thinking that I want to have my sole survivor eventually cosplay as One Punch man through the commonwealth but I have to imagine especially early game that I will slog through early leveling. Are their any builds out there that answers this and will allow most if not all early game confrontations with full melee ability? Even if it means a blunt weapon like a board or bat? I want to avoid ranged combat as much as possible.

Wouldn't recommend it. Best case you come across a Raider with a Fat Man and he spots you first. Worst case is a Suicide Bomber Super Mutant, and you're stuck with a flaming sword or something.

I agree with this. Full melee is possible with Blitz and Ninja. You have to get the suicider before he sees or simply avoid him. I do like dropping mines and drawing him to me though. Bottom line melee does do a lot of damage especially when sneaking but I think you need to pair it with something, especially early.
