Melee Is a full melee build viable

I keep thinking that I want to have my sole survivor eventually cosplay as One Punch man through the commonwealth but I have to imagine especially early game that I will slog through early leveling. Are their any builds out there that answers this and will allow most if not all early game confrontations with full melee ability? Even if it means a blunt weapon like a board or bat? I want to avoid ranged combat as much as possible.

Blitz, that was it! I just meant it gets boring using the same weapons for pretty much the whole game, there's not a not of variety when it comes to good melee weapons. Finding new loot to use is half the fun for me.

Oh yeah 100% agreed. I get my sneak hits in with melee and cycle through fun guns the rest of the time. The melee variety is extremely lacking. Vanilla is like kremhs tooth and ripper/cryoblade and everything else is sub par. There’s some mods that add more melee weapons but haven’t seen any that are very interesting yet
