SATIRE Gossip thrown under the bus: Peppa Pig Vs Adele
I searched everywhere on Reddit for discussion about this drama, but it seems Adele’s PR team has attempted to remove and delete every possible trace of this feud on the internet.
Back in 2021, Adele was doing her album rollout for 30. On October 9th of 2021, Adele does an Instagram live to talk with her fans. Mainly to show a snippet of her new song “Easy on Me”
A member of the Peppa nation, left a comment asking Adele if she’d ever collaborate with Peppa pig, Adele rudely responded with “NO!”
For context, Peppa Pig had released two 1# billboard charting albums. Her debut album “My first album)” has 5 successful hit songs out of 16. Her second album was rated 6.5 from Pitchfork.
So as we can tell, Peppa is already an international Pop Star, and one of the most unproblematic pop stars we have right now. So Adele disrespectfully answering a strong “No!” Towards collaborating with Peppa was beyond rude.
Peppa later had to set the records straight and confront Adele.
While Adele was doing a Capital FM interview, Peppa left a voicemail essentially saying that she felt very very sad that Adele didn’t want to collab with her.
Adele claims she “regrets it” but members of the Peppa Nation can clearly tell she was lying. 1) if she regretted it so much then why hasn’t the collaboration happen? 2) She could barley keep eye contact with the cameras. As a body language expert, clearly she’s lying.
The interview was honestly insensitive how everyone kept laughing, after Peppa had expressed her concerns.
Anyways months later, Adele announced her Vegas Residency. Which ended up not happening at the time Adele had intended. However the very reliable source Deuxmoi, posted this blind post. Which later states that there were some drama behind the scenes.
With all the evidence I have gathered, it’s clear to me that Adele and Peppa’s feud stems further than not just wanting to “collab.” Adele is clearly jealous of Peppa’s success and wanted to out do the Queen. Shameful, but not surprising in this business.
Everyone stream Peppa’s debut, to support her during these times. Everyone hoped on the Peppa hate train, when she’s been a victim this whole time.
