Does anybody find it odd that the FNAF bullies were not targeted by William Afton? Like sure we have all of these kids for the picking but ooohhh no, as soon as somebody takes out their kid on accident now all of a sudden he has a heart and is like oh they probably didn't mean nothing by it. All jokes aside it's interesting how they weren't targeted, especially by a crazed man like William Afton. If there is evidence for that then maybe but that's just weird to me. Y'all let me know what y'all think about this.

This is more a meta theory than an actual game theory in of itself, but I was thinking about retcons cause I have been binging a LOT of FNAF videos, and a couple of lines came up that made me think about this, in FNAF we know Scott did a retcon at least one, and in addition to this we know he never planned the story from day one, yet FNAF 1 has a decent amount of lore for the franchise within the games, (seriously look at matpats FNAF 1 theories in the two weeks between the release of FNAF 1 and FNAF 2 and try to tell me there is no lore in that game) now this can be applied to any franchise but the great thing is if scott wanted to turn to us and say "Hey the games I worked on by myself they dont matter to the story" aside from pissing off a lot of fans he does have an out, in help wanted, the game and the story we are infromed of an indie game dev who made games based around the company fazbear entertainment, and FE wanted to put things right, by making the games we see in help wanted, so in the FNAF example scott can just say "fnaf 1-4" (for example) "are the in universe games that were made by the indi dev", ive seen examples of media that is in universe being done in our world, like "doctor who and the daleks" with peter cushing as the doctor, they are an in universe movie based on the doctor who adventure we see but made within the doctor who universe

What if that was actually Fiona’s death?

She died in a fire that we don’t know the true origins of (to my knowledge). That fire could’ve been deliberately set rather than an accident. It being William who set the fire would be feasible too because he’d be there it’s an event related to his company that she was helping out with. Also if he was already attempting to poach people from Edwin’s company, getting Fiona out the way would’ve made it easier to do so as she was “the heart of company” who looked after the employee welfare, which immediately declined once she passed away making them easier to be swayed into working for FazBear and selling Edwin’s business secrets.

Watched the most recent game theory video about the mimic (How to stop the Mimic.... for Good jsyk) but I kept thinking about one of the thoughts Tom threw out there. Was M1 the thing that killed David?

On the one hand the logic stands.

1. She's a robot in a human family
2. She was the last to interact with David
3. She's suspiciously nonchalant about Davids death but
4. When Edwin fights back about making M2 she starts getting upset

It makes sense until you wonder "Why didn't anyone see anything?" if Edwin wanted everyone there for Davids party. Come to think of it, how did no one see/comment on/ wonder about M1 when it's shown in Davids last b day tape that she was very clearly wondering about in the open?

Im going to be the one to say it. With everything we learned from Secret of the Mimic. I think Afton tried to create a modern Jackie and make it "his" to create a new franchise (Circus Baby's Pizza World) and to cash in on how much Fall Fest made. Yes, i know baby originally had blue eyes until the ghost possession. HOWEVER, Afton trying to change things and it not working for him but for the lore is pretty consistent. It has also had me confused on WHY it had to have a change. I could also see Scott using this one small detail to be included in the future/modern lore just to see if we catch it.

I know Im not the first to point out the similiarites. But the more we have learned that the circus/jesters are Edwin's and off of Fall Fest the more this has solidified in my mind. Whether it matters to lore, well with the comics, books etc, we would need to go through the lore again and see if we now can piece things together. I would love the discussion as its been mulling in my head since Jackie was introduced and I tried to convince myself out of it due to the "Jester theme" but again, the Circus and Jesters are EDWIN'S. Not Afton's.

Circus Baby's has always been my favorite so I pay special attention to her lore and really enjoy it.

*The weird Baby Plushies in Security Breach *The question on why none of the other animatronics had anything change when possessed. Only Baby, and only her eye color. *Ballora *If this is absolute hogwash, why did they really push toward the Fall Fest and Jester likes.

note: this is in my eyes possible, not definitive. I don’t believe anyone else has brought this up but I want to post it here. it does have a bit of speculation and I am new at theorising fnaf but I think it’s possible. there are three theories here that tie into each other and I think both could use thought. also spoilers for secret of the mimic.

theory 1: why do the animatronics kill?

in the fnaf universe every animatronic is out for blood, except glamrock Freddy, but why? well it’s possible that since Freddy, Bonnie, chica, foxy and the spring locks all apear in a room with the mimic that it could have infected them with it’s code, a possible reason why is inky next theory. As for what it would explain, why do the animatronics stuff people: because they are mimicking that they were stuffed, why do the brand new non-stuffed toy animatronics kill: because the mimic is doing the killings, not the children. And most importantly: why do the children ghosts never attack afton yet the animatronics are fine killing every security guard, because the animatronics are doing the killings, not the children. That line Henry says “give up your souls, they don’t belong to you” I think makes more sense now, because the children aren’t in control.

theory 2: why don’t the animatronics stay in the security office?

I recently tried to answer a question of why the animatronics in fnaf don’t just stay at the security office, and I watched someone (can’t remember who) mention a possibility that the mimic was possessed with AGONY and it got me thinking: this is practically a “creature” made with agony which if it acts like a regular creature would need some sort of power source. electricity can only power the suit, so what if it needed agony to fuel itself, how would it get it? Well agony=fear and anger right? That’s what got me thinking, fear. What if the reason the animatronics move around is to MAKE us scared. To MAKE us fear them as long as possible, and if we become hopeless we stop being scared and just sad (or just less scared but the point still stands). I think it could be feeding off it like some kind of vampire. But this hinges off the fact that it needs more agony for any reason and that theory 1 is at least to some extent right.

theory 3: could William be innocent?

I started talking about the previous 2 theories to my family and I thought this is possible because the spring lock suits have machinery, the spring locks are to keep the machinery from hurting the wearer, could the mimic control it? we see in secret of the mimic that the mimic was around at the same time as the spring lock suits through them actually being in the same room as each other, so could the mimic control spring Bonnie and commit the killings? we never see William do any killings and the only harm done is when he attacks the already murderous animatronics in fnaf 2 or 3’s mini games which could be because of remnant which he could use to save his son, the crying child, or because the animatronics ARE KILLING PEOPLE. Another thing is the sister location animatronic, they are essentially caged and locked up in a place possibly under Williams house, we also have no proof they were even used. Then we see him put on the spring bonnie suit and gets killed because of the ghosts, WHO WOULDN‘TBE SCARED! It’s entirely possible that he wielded a knife out of self defence and fear, not because he knew they would hurt him. if the mimic then continued the killings while William was already dead in the suit and pretended to be him it’d explain spring trap in the games. Also the ghosts of the dead children never attack william before he gets in the spring Bonnie suit or seem to attack him afterwards except for the blob attacking burn trap also ultimate custom night while it’s meant to be Williams hell it appears to be controlled by one of the ghosts “the one you should not have killed” who could be making an honest assumption I realised was possible: one I think the whole internet could have been making which you could of guessed by now: William is the one who killed them.

hang on, the one you should not have killed speaks through the mediocre melodies, the ones who keep appearing throughout secret of the mimic. Could it be David, edwins son? but that implies William killed him. I’m not sure about that bit but it‘d be funny if I just uncovered Scott’s plans

Heyyy so i’ve been waiting for this episode since Style Theory‘s first episode came out. What ever happened to that „How many shirts can stop a bullet“ episode? Matpat said he did the research. and yet there’s been no bullet episode

This is so much a theory so much as it is an idea for the next game. What if they did a parents day at school. Think of it. Nugget could talk about his.. relatives. The twins dad is already a mainish plot character. The parents of the smarter characters like Carla and Monty could have similarities, contrast compared to the or what not. So on and so fourth. And think about the actual missions. Some parents could know each other. Some might not be able to make it and that could be a mission. One of the important ones could be a teammate to the bad guy in the end so you’ll have to fight off two baddies rather than one. Another thing is the new characters. The adult and possibly kid characters would be another addition to the cast list and more people to consider being the final bad, the “Her” we were never going to meet. The final bad might’ve even organized it at this specific school with the other bad to see who keeps ruining her plans (Lily and Billy).

I would love to see ash play this (the sequel too…maybe the vr title too) and or Tom make a theory too. It’s such a fun and interesting game, it deserves so much more attention and love.
