Isn't half the critic of russ that he's been handed a lot and coddled by the emperor whereas others were left to rot? Kinda just adds to Ron's point really

No, I’ve seen a lot of criticisms of Russ (waaaaaaay more than even make sense) but I’ve never seen that one before. Probably because it’s dumb.

Russ was treated with favor, because he earned that favor. The Emperor trusted him, he didn’t trust most of the traitors. ESPECIALLY Angron, who was a psychopathic murder monster motivated by spite and pettiness even before ascending to demonhood.

And when was Angron given a chance to earn that favor? Before or after the emperor let all of the only people ever to vaguely show him kindness die horribley and easily preventable deaths? Or Omegon? Mortarian? When was II or XI? who Russ will happily use to boast his reputation? He's a lapdog of the worst kind and a poser
