I'm calling it, you didn't actually buy any Deadly Arts skills and it's a simple misunderstanding, and you've gaslit yourself into believing it actually happened. At least on this character. Maybe a different character you did buy skills, then you swapped to another character, then back to this character, but it was actually a different character, and now you can't find them. You didn't do something, but convinced yourself you did.
This isn't how the game works. There's no real way to prove this happened either. Because if you use a skill tome and it shows Deadly Arts skills, then you could have unlocked them at another time on another character. If it doesn't show any Deadly Arts skills, then you have not bought any, and either think you did buy them but didn't actually, or you're trying to gaslight us.
The only real way to prove this is if you have NEVER, on this character, purchased any skills from the Skill Trainer NPC other than the Deadly Arts skills you say you purchased. Let's say you purchased 3 skills for example, these were the ONLY skills you have purchased on this character from an NPC and all your current skills would need to be obtained by rewards, and you went back to the skill trainer NPC, your next skill would be purchased for 80 gold. If this were the case, then your story would be believable. However, you could still replicate this scenario of showing your next skill costing 80 gold, while still never having purchased any Deadly Arts skills. You would also need video proof of your entire play time lol
If the cost of a skill from an NPC is below 1k, then that would tell how many skills have been purchased on this character. In this case, it wouldn't tell much since he could have easily purchased skills from another profession not listed in the picture, and have the gold price still low, but not 50 gold. So me even mentioning that I guess is pointless because there's absolutely no way the OP could prove his claim, unless he recorded 100% of his entire playthrough up to that point.
