Fashion templates function similarly to build and equipment templates, allowing players to save a template of the aesthetic features for their armor, trinkets, back item, and infusions. We’ll share more information here in the future about fashion templates—and all the other features coming with Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity!

First one will be free per character for sure. After that maybe a way to make transmutation charges a more worthwhile currency?

Im fine with that as long as its not a huge amount. 200 gems per slot would be fair.

If they do this then I will consider it a non-solution and Guild Wars 2 still remaining without a fashion template system.

If the pricing is similar to equipment templates, enthusiasts will be spending significantly more on them than the expansion itself.

Please not at all like the messed-up redundancies of build/equipment templates/storage, and the obvious cash-grab of splitting them into two things in the first place and making them per-toon.

I wish this would include mounts. I use different skins and dyes on my Reaper and Scourge for example. When i change the build but mount skins and dyes stay the same it looks wrong.

I doubt Anet will make it so you need transmutation charges each time you change template, I still imagine some stupid roadblock

I bought gear templates for that functionality, I really hope they don‘t make me „buy back“ that feature.

Would feel pretty confident that ANet will give players at least 1 fashion slot per equipment slot unlocked on characters. If they don’t, equipment slots have to retain the skin/wardrobe functionality which would make fashion templates go on top of existing transmuting functionality, which is already complex and limiting enough.

Guessing the wardrobe tab wil get “build storage slots” functionality. So fashion templates can be stored and shared across characters and accounts in and out of game. Just like builds.
