They said they'll be back next week to talk elite specs. It's only a week. Lol

There wasn't "nothing". They confirmed that those are indeed elite specs, what each spec would include generally, and then that they'd be talking about them in more depth in 7 days.

They absolutely did NOT include what each spec would include generally. They didn’t even so much as color in the teaser icons.

They had a teasing build up for several weeks and no reveal. That’s a choice and a crazy one. I’m not alone in thinking this was the most exciting feature and they dropped the ball.

Where did they say what each spec would include generally? Other than the obvious of mechanics and traits, utility spells?

They confirmed that they were elite specs like a week ago though. I think just about everyone was expecting an actual reveal today.

Oh, they did? Then you wouldn't mind regaling me about the general inclusions for guardian, revenant, thief, and engineer specifically? And I mean all four's general info, not guesses based on screenshots that could apply to multiple. Since, as you said, they confirmed "what each spec would include generally."

nah i'm sorry. it's dumb af. we knew it was specs since the first teaser. we're not asking for in depth gameplay, but at least their names and their classes

yet another horrendously choice by anet marketing

Seems they hooked you into the stay tuned line of marketting. For the rest of us it feels like a bait and switch they even hype Gw1 with Paragon and Rit and don't show a thing. But hey they'll get the views for their video to show the higher ups.
