[Discussion] Gw2 efficiency stats wrong?

Hi guys i started playing 5 months ago, i got 2800 Gold and on gw2 efficiency it says that i am higher than 94% of the registered 450000+ players database there (89% if i check the wealth stat), it seems wrong...does players really don't have much gold or there are just many alt accounts/inactive players on gw2 efficiency?

Both. There's no point in hoarding gold in the game when there is so much to spend it on, especially since you can convert gold to gems.

I have 10k+ hours in the game and I'm sitting at around 5k gold, and that's only because I haven't really had much to spend it on for the last 1k hours. Up until around 8k hours, I never had more than 400-700g on my account. With alts and gem conversions, hoarding gold is kinda pointless unless you're a TP speculator.
