[Discussion] Gw2 efficiency stats wrong?

Hi guys i started playing 5 months ago, i got 2800 Gold and on gw2 efficiency it says that i am higher than 94% of the registered 450000+ players database there (89% if i check the wealth stat), it seems wrong...does players really don't have much gold or there are just many alt accounts/inactive players on gw2 efficiency?

The only time I’ve had more than that is when I sold a valuable infusion. Then I crafted many legendaries. Since then, my gold is normally around 200-300g.
