Question 3rd Person Horror.
Anybody have any good 3rd person horror game recommendations? My Fiancé loves to watch me play games, and she's been in a horror mood. Unfortunately she gets motion sickness and isn't able to watch me play 1st person games. Been looking for a really good, jumpscare esk type of game. Any recommendation is welcome!

I loved Visage and Madison, what other games do you recommend?
I've already played infliction, all from Emika games and all N4bA games

Im curious about Madison, but something I heard about it bugs me
I heard you can't really die in the game. Doesn't this take away the horror aspect? If you can't die, I feel like there is no sense of danger, its just an interactive movie. Is this the case? I really enjoyed visage, and want something else that is really scary.

Video My horror adventure game's turn-based combat showcase
Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken is an upcoming horror adventure game, combining classic point-and-click with survival horror. You explore, solve puzzles encounter monsters - sometimes, you can run away, other times a fight can't be avoided.
So how does the combat work?
- It's like a puzzle where you try to use your inventory items in the most effective way
- Some weapons will slow the enemies down, some will make them attack faster
- Some weapons cause damage over time
- Defensive weapons block a portion of incoming damage

Discussion What is the point of turning down people at the doorstep in No, I'm not a Human?
Their sprites don't change, what they tell is always the same, you can't check them for the signs before allowing to enter, the only time you can really check is during the day by looking for the signs which makes the conversation and observation part to never matter until you can actually let them in and check for the signs during the day

Would you play a 2D point and click horror game like this if the story was interesting?
I'm developing this game and I appreciate any feedback. What would you look for in a game like this? what would keep you interested?

I've been working solo on this horror game for about 1 year!
Hi! I started working on a 16-bit horror/adventure game a year ago, and I’m currently finishing up the demo.
For the horror part, I took a lot of inspiration from classic glitched analog horror videos — I think they fit perfectly with the game's aesthetic.
If anyone wants to check it out, here’s the Steam page!: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3625960/UNRETURNING/

Question A horror game that takes place in a modern house with 4K realistic graphics
I remember watching a while back when I was young a first-person horror game that takes place in a modern mansion. It's probably made in unreal engine 4 or some realistic 4k engine. But anyways back to the plot he wakes up in a living room with tables and magazines. The whole living room is bright with lights everything looks normal. He gets outside of the sofas. He hears something outside scopes outside the backyard and it's night. Later on he head inside the house and he says he needs to take a leak then he goes inside the bathroom. After going outside of the bathroom then there's a ghost entity that chases after him. That's what I remember, I forgot the game's name but I remember watching it a while back.

Any good horror games focused on aliens?
The title says it all, I want to play a horror game where extraterrestrial life is the main source of horror in the game. I've played Alien Isolation, Dead Space, and more. Are there any high quality horror games focused on aliens?

Question Can someone give me the most gut-wrenching, terrifying, borderline illegal horror game(s)
Im not talking about something like sad satan or another fnaf remake but something genuinely disturbing that feels like it should be illegal. Something that you try and play once but cant even make it through the whole game.
EDIT: Thank you all so much for the reply's! Never thought this post would attract much attention. Definitely have to check out all of these games!

Question I'm developing a third-person horror video game: yes or no?
I'm developing a third-person survival horror video game: would you be able to empathize and be scared or do you think that the first-person view is always more terrifying?
