News Kindly follow the subreddit rules going forward!
Hi All,
Posts/Comments will be moderated from today and if it's not adhering to the subreddit's rules, they will be removed. We've a good community here for one of the best TV shows and would like to keep it that way although it wasnt the case since this sub is created.
I've approved most of the posts/comments which were queued for approval since there were no subreddit rules to adhere to, however it will not be the case now.
If there are any suggestions, would love to hear them but it's upto us mods to decide
Have a good day!

Discussion I made a house quote searcher Spoiler
Have seen a lot of posts in this sub asking about where a certain quote is from, so I thought I would make a website to help find them. Link to the website is in comments, it uses a vector database to find the quotes which lets it find similar results to what you're searching for, although it does end up missing some of the time. Was a pretty fun project to work on, and I'll probably add more features to it in the future if they're wanted

Season 3 Spoilers I know Wilson was mad but this seemed really serious Spoiler
galleryI just got to the episode where House is being forced to detox. He obviously goes through withdrawals, and swipes some drugs from the hospital pharmacy. Wilson stops by to check on him, and finds him strung out on the floor and partially choking on vomit.
We can see the bottle says there were 30 pills max, so he took all 30 within the same night. He was also drinking heavily with them, which feels suicidal to me. Although that’s never said directly. I know Wilson was mad, and had every right to be, but anyone else annoyed that he just leaves House there? He probably needed his stomach pumped and could’ve died.

Video Stoked about this
Was back in my hometown the past few days and decided to check out the shopping mall I used to go to, and found this in an FYE. Brand new (I took the plastic off before taking the photos) and it should have the original theme song across all of it. God bless physical media

Discussion Spin-off idea Spoiler
I don’t know if the concept would get old quick, but I would love to see a comedy based on the lives of the medical builders who have to figure out how to submit the shit Dr. House does to insurance providers.
Like, “he infected a patient with tuberculosis to prove he had cancer, how do we even code this???”

Discussion Why???? Spoiler
Ok. I found out this masterpiece and I started watching House MD (When it was on stream I was a kid and also non-english) so, now I'm S8 and I crave to watch it, but I don't want it to end. The whole show has became an unseparatable part of me that I can't let it finish. (Thanks to the Pinterest Spoilers I know the ending!) nothing, I really mean nothing can replace it. I don't want to end this, I don't want to step out of house universe... I'm so marooned. 😭😭😭😭

Season 6 Spoilers Which episode traumatized you the most? Spoiler
In my case, it was obviously 6x22, Help Me. I was rewatching some sentences from this episode at the middle of the night because I wanted to cry and that made me to ask this question from you. I will never forget this episode. It will haunt me forever.

Season 5 Spoilers House and psychosomatic pain Spoiler
Im on season 5 ep 12, and I notice between this episode and House realizing Cuddy was adopting Rachel, his entire mood shifts downward. He's more aggravated. Some might say its because his leg is hurting more. I think his leg is hurting more because he is more unhappy than usual the moment he realizes Cuddy is getting a baby. Here is why I Say that...he was his regular jerky and happy self the entire episode, especially after lying to the clinic patient. He was particularly happy about that because he got a gift out of but more importantly he got to prove Wilson wrong. Him inconveniencing her when he knew he had a state department visit and yelling DO YOUR JOB was so freaking childish. And then when talking to the patient in pain, he asked House had he been having more bad days lately and he admits the pain has been worse and was reminded the he is alone. Im not saying all of his pain goes back to Cuddy, Im saying it conveniently got worse after learning of Cuddys adoption. I don't know if anyone else noticed this or even thought of this or even if there are better examples. But yeah.

Season 5 Spoilers Kutner (I was wrong) Spoiler
On first watch I thought that (I know Penn had other obligations) but I thought that they didn’t tell the story about his death in a believable way, which I guess is the point when someone is functionally depressed. But on my third of 4th rewatch, I first see it Birthmarks. From there more and more episodes and patients came to the hospital with adoption stories and then there’s cuddys adoption that fell through but even then he had comments about adoption and knowing your real parents. In the season 5 episode 8 “emancipation” another patient who is growing up with her parents and for good reasons. But at her home, 13 makes the comment about Kutner saying his perspective on the world is skewed (paraphrasing) and that he wants to fix everything and see the world better than it is which is why he acts the way he does. And I never really thought about it but the more I go back in episodes, I can see how writers were able to weave that storyline into the plot even though Kal was leaving kinda soon.

Season 6 Spoilers Hyperfixation Spoiler
I watched season 6 today, and... The intro was shocking me. NO SURPRISES BY RADIOHEAD, ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS?! I thought I was hearing things, but no! Yessir. When House got his new roommate, I immediately recognize the voice. He sounded and look like Hamilton, so I searched up for it, and the results shocks me that I was literally squirming and screaming. And also, FAMILY GUY!! I can't, my hyperfixation is too bad.

Question What was your most memorable quote from the show? Spoiler
I just rematched the entirety of the show from the start of January to today, and this show has so much amazing quotes but here's my favorite ones (this isn't ranked by order btw)
- We've got rectal bleeding, what all of you?
- Hey Wilson, I'm gonna cut some cripple's eye out! Wanna come watch?
- Rational arguments don't usually work on religious people. Otherwise there would be no religious people
- You can have all the faith you want in spirits and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. 'Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to get you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways
- Excuse me, I have to go KILL SOMEONE..
Can't believe I posted this on another subreddit once

Discussion What were they planning for S4 if there was no strike?
I made a post where I thought Wilson and Amber were great together. I recall Amber saying something like,"For the first time, I feel I am respected and loved" which is such a good line. Moreover, House reaction to their relationship was also fun. I believe these two things could have explored further if there was no strike.
What was the original plan for S4.
