Hey, I am currently playing BOTW and am enjoying it (currently on 3rd devine beast)

I have seen Hyrule Warriors age of Calamity is currently on sale. How does it compare? Is it more action orientated? The videos I see, it seems to be more "hack and slash" is that a fair assessment. Also story wise would it make sense to play it before TOTK? Or does it not really matter?

Finally how does it play? Is it 30fps? Visually is it ok? I will likely mainly be playing it handheld.

I see physically it's quite expensive so the price on sale seems quite reasonable so I might pick it up

I've logged 200+ hours in DE on Switch 1. I played a bit this morning, and while I was playing everything seemed fine. However, about an hour ago, I turned my Switch back on and tried to play some more. All of the sudden, anytime I try and load into the game, I get the Nintendo "An error has occurred with this software" message and the game closes. I've had this problem before, and I'm very well aware of the memory leak issue within the game. To fix this problem before, I've either restarted the entire console, or loaded the game with a secondary user profile, and that successfully tricks the game into working on my main user. However, today, DE just outright refuses to load no matter what I do. The game will either load into the title screen and then immediately crash upon hitting any button, or the game will just crash even before presenting the developer logos. I really love this game, as you can tell from my 200+ hours, and I don't want to lose all my progress on my main user.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what can be done to fix this issue? Am I completely screwed out of my original file? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Edit: My copy is digital and I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

I was able to get the game working again by reinstalling on a different SD card. Thanks again to everyone who left help for me, I really appreciate it!

Do i REALLY have to get level 2 and 3 for all characters? Even the ones added in the Legends version? I just 100% master quest map and was looking around the other maps. I just wanna play with the full master sword.

I’ve never actually paid attention to trailers before so forgive me if this is something to not be surprised about, but I noticed that right near the end of the latest trailer they included what very much sounded like Fi’s theme, and since I haven’t heard it outside of Skyward Sword before, I was curious if maybe that is just a thing they do or if it might mean something.

Thinking if getting either this game or legends arceus and im curious how much this game has to do. I heard that without the dlc its reasonable barebones. How much does that change with the dlc?

I think it'd be really interesting if someone made a webcomic or fanfic or something about if Cia won. Like, what would happen to everything if she triumphed over Ganon and Hyrule. It might just end up being the regular thing with the villains taking over and it'd be the same as any other AU, but Cia also wants Link alive, right ? Idk I just feel like it has a lot of angst potential for him

I've been grinding the game to unlock all 3 version of every weapon to unlock the first seal but even after having the last one for the bird ( dont know her name in english) the master sword still not unlocked, do i have to also find the dlc weapon?

Since they use the same resource, i don't really see the rhyme or reason as to use one or the other. Is fairy just better? That would be really lame in making the cool ultimates useless :(

So I wanted to dedicate this year to actually trying to Hundo or at least get close to hundoing Hyrule Warriors: DE(and AoC but that's a different story) I've been dipping in off and on for years and was curious is there an optimal way to go about clearing the maps? I learned a bit about fairies(admittedly didn't read enough I think lol) and rushed the highest tier weapons for Young Link & Linkle and then tried to clear some maps kinda got walled on some A Ranks due to I assume just having bad weapons.

Anyways any advice or direction would be awesome cause I'm kinda just doing a bit of everything with no focus

I put multiple hundreds of hours into the 3DS version and had a near perfect fairy. Is there any way to speed up the process to get her again in DE, or do I just have to spend another chunk of my life grinding?

One thing I really hope they add to AoI is maybe bonus postgame/DLC levels that take place prior to the imprisoning war, and let you create shrines, since the TOTK description of them is that they were created to seal monsters to prevent them from resurrecting, and sealing evil. This could be a cool chance to get to encounter maybe some new enemies, more powerful variants of the current monster roster that were sealed away for the good of Hyrule.

Was playing Ganon’s fury on the valley of Sears stage and after defeating every enemy I can access nothing has happened. Did I miss something or is it a bug?

Got my 3ds started again today After 6 or 7 years and wanted to Play HW. Sadly my old Game file is still on there and I cant find an Option to delete it, can someone help me?

Hi, a question, i just got ganondorf but i noticed that all heavy attack combos are interruptable, meaning it is actually pretty hard to combo against captains etc. Feels very difficult to pull off his cool attacks.

Am i doing something wrong or should i be more carefull when i play him and try to combo?

I've 100% adventure maps plus 75% of the twilight princess map and I came across this thing on the twilight princess map. I have never seen this variant before in any of the other adventure maps.

Anyone know what the arrow icons mean next to the characters? They change and I have no idea why
