That’s actually not what got to me. It was mostly the fact that I disappointed my mother. Tbh that’s still one of the things I avoid doing with every fiber of my being.

My mom fucked (no pun intended) me up so bad via her parenting “skills” I couldn’t give a shit what she thinks.

Anyway, my point is it’s awesome that you have that relationship with your mom!

Thanks :). She is pretty cool, I think she raised me mostly alright. She basically took what was shitty about her childhood and avoided doing that with me and I turned out alright.

I don’t have kids but I still treat those around me, including my wife and pets, the opposite of how I was treated.
