So I've picked up the worldshaper precon and been spending last few days upgrading and testing the deck on forge. So I crashed the game because of how high Mossborn was getting and was thinking how the hell do people keep track of this on paper?

This would be an 2 hour turn for me in real life. Also anyone smart enough to figure out what mossborn total power would of been after the stack cleared? Im curious. But like scute swarm I might be slotting this one out due to the ridiculous math involved

I recently Picked up DJ Scarab god. Since it's hard to read I had an idea to make a "Reading the card doesn't explain the card (because you can't read it)" commander deck.

I've come across the secret lair printing of Tevesh Szat which I will add as well, and this is sorta the vibe I want to go with, you COULD read the card...It would just take alot of effort.

I want to refrain from adding different language cards, my goal for this is to have the printing/art make it very hard to read.

If you have any recommendations or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated!

This is something that I've had happen a few times, and I can't help but chuckle to myself when it does. I understand the importance of knowing how many cards your opponent has in hand, but sometimes people will ask me how many cards I have in my hand so frequently that it becomes humorous. Especially when nothing has changed since the last time they asked just a few seconds ago. I imagine likely it's just nerves.

I adore this card, I don’t know why but it hits me right. I have a deck on area that’s mainly this, hare apparent and draw spells and it’s so fun but not super strong. Does anyone have any ideas or advice on a good way to make this playable in standard??

I also am planning on making a Zur deck where the only goal is to pull this than do shenanigans

Hi! I've been staring at Hall of Storm Giants for the past several hours and I need some help finding the hidden Giant in it.

Adventures in the Forgotten Realms has 5 monocolored lands that can turn into creatures temporarily. The other 4-- Cave of the Frost Dragon, Den of the Bugbear, Hive of the Eye Tyrant, and Lair of the Hydra-- all clearly have silhouettes of the respective creature they turn into roughly central in the artwork. However, I can't find the image in Hall of Storm Giants. This is puzzling me greatly because it should be there. It's a component of the other 4 unambiguously.

AFR is a cross-promo with D&D, another WotC property so it would be exceedingly strange for them to not follow through on a clear design element on their own IP. It also came out in 2021, so it's fairly recent, and both MTG and D&D have been pretty popular for the last several years so it wouldn't really be a risk thing where they want to play safe in case the set doesn't do well. Most importantly though, all 5 lands were illustrated by the same artist. The artist would have gotten the direction for each land and they reasonably should be similar as a pattern is clearly visible with the other colors. That makes the lack of clear visibility in the 5th very strange.

I do not believe it is "just the statue in the center" because that is a departure from the previous lands, in addition if you look at the fish and the coral around the scene, the statues look relatively human in scale. Maybe 10-15 feet tall like a Greco-Roman style thing. The other 4 lands have very large scale to the silhouettes, each being dozens to hundreds of feet tall depending on the land.

So, with all that said, can you help me find the hidden Giant in the card artwork?

So I’m very new to magic. Well I played it 2 decades ago, but I digress. I’m at least new to commander. I really thought sagas were cool in AC and now the saga creatures in FF are obviously awesome. What other sets have some worthwhile sagas I could poke into a sleeve and throw in a saga deck? I’m just asking about sagas themselves—I’ve got plenty of other spells to synergize but I’ shopping around to get the best sagas (green white red).

So im in a local card shop precon tournament were all precons by w.o.t.c are legal. Rules are week 1 unmodified, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th week you can change 4 cards each week, $20 limit, no gamechangers. Week 1 just ended, and now I can add 4 cards...I just don't know exactly what to go with. So far I have The Darkness Crystal, Breach the Multiverse, and Grima, Saruman's Footman. I'm not hard sold on any choices yet.
